-Never ever purchase Easter Candy from a dollar store even if marked down to $0.25 per bunny

-Hydrogen Peroxide doesn't taste nearly as bad as I expected

My mom is convinced I'm too young to use whitening strips and that they'll damage my gums so my sister (she's the typical, GMO-free, avoids harmful chemicals when possible, everything all-natural kind of chick) said that swishing with hydrogen peroxide mixed with water should help. :P We'll see if it makes a noticible difference...

That's ironic though since hydrogen peroxide is a toxic chemical. :P

Instead, here's some natural remedies... actually natural remedies, not toxic chemical remedies XD ...from Colgate (credit: Tricia Mool).

"...using apple cider vinegar over a period of weeks can make a difference. To make your teeth whitening paste, two parts apple cider vinegar to one part baking soda is ideal. Again, less is more when it comes to baking soda. Try this solution a few times a week, or simply use the apple cider vinegar as a mild mouthrinse along with your daily oral care... limit use of your paste to two or three times a week. Excessive use of baking soda can have the reverse effect of cleaning, breaking down your enamel over time and causing sensitivity in your teeth. So, make sure you maintain your regular oral care regimen."

Additionally,
"Coconut oil, with a small amount of mashed peppermint leaves for a minty finish, can help remove some of the surface bacteria that yellows teeth... unlike baking soda-based whiteners, it's safe to use coconut oil daily and any measurement can work."

I'm not disputing the application. I know that's what it's used for, but there are effective alternatives that don't pose such a health risk if swallowed.

We have a long running joke of being siblings, but yesterday he was confiding in me about his crush situation, and then his brother came over and tried to get information out of me but I avoided his questioning, being as annoying as I could be so that he left us alone. XD

Ehh I'm fine. Yesterday was fun, I drove on a parkway for the first time and lived to tell the tale, I had five15, hung out with my straight kid (inside joke Briana will get it) and then went to my brother's friend's house where they have extended hangout. Home life has been super stressful but whatever.

And now I have to figure out a way to not give my guy friend false hope about his crush but instead good council but it's really hard because they're one of my church friend OTPs soooo...

They're really good friends. We actually have a joke that she, her little sister, him and I are basically siblings. I don't think she sees him that way, or if she does she doesn't want it to ruin their friendship. (Plus she's a girl after my own heart and is still crushing on Colin Morgan and David Tennant. XD) And she's 14 and he's 16 so he really isn't thinking of being her boyfriend right now, he just reeeeaaaaally likes her and doesn't know what to do. I told him to try to be her friend, because a lot of girls end up wanting to marry their best guy friend. So we'll see.
