Nat-He is? No wonder my friends are going. One of them is MUCH more of a Darren Criss fan than a Starkid fan. I didn't know she even knew what Starkid was....

Me too, Rae, me too :)Kate, he is. Oh... Yup, that's probably why then! She will probably feel out of place... but congrats to her for getting tixs. I wonder how fast they sold out.... I think the Cincinnati ones are still available, I hope you're able to go, Rae! (just as long as you twll us everythign!)
MY SISTER IS BUTTHEAD AND WENT ON MY TUMBLR AND SHE ASKED ME WHAT STARKID WAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I seriously couldn't believe that she didn't know what it was! Anyway, that was random fact of the day. :)
@ Nat-I'm sure there's more to it than just her Glee obsession. I know that at least one of them has seen AVPM/S, but I wouldn't have called her a starkid. That being said, she's not a huge Glee fan, so why else would she be going?

At least, that's what the TSK FB page regulars and I deduced yesterday.....
Taylor- yeah, it's all on the East Coast.
Nat- yeah, me too. XD And OF COURSE! Why wouldn't i tell ya'll everything? (If they told us to not spill. XD)
Thank, Kate. I haven't gotten tickets YET, but it's looking like I can go so if there's still some left on Friday, I'll probably get one.And I won. XD #justsayin
That's actually what my congratulations were about. Not to be confusing or anything. But I hope you get to go.
I totally hope Rae get's to go. Scalpers are selling VIP tickets with DC there for FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS. Is that insane or what?
Congrats Rae :)
Evanna said on Twitter that she was going to have a cake sell trying to get money for TSK to come here, but I doubt she will...
Rae, you have a Twitter, #dontyou? x)
Kate- I was pretty sure that's what you were congratulating me for, but YA NEVER KNOW! XDAsiyah- Hahha, thanks!
Nat- I hope I do too!
Yeah, they swooped in immediately after tickets went up, bought them and now the prices they're re-selling them for is ridiculous.
Thanks!
Hahah, I DO. XD (My handle is @RebekahStarkid in case any of you have twitters and wanna follow me.) Yeah, of course, doing a West Coast tour is a LOT cheaper than going to Europe and doing one. (You'd be surprised how many European starkids there are)
Rebekah Faith*StarGleek*Potterhead* wrote: "Wait, so you COULD possibly go to one of them? #slightlyconfused"Because my boarding school is kind of far from where I live, the day I come back from break they go from where my school is near to near where I live. AND I AM UPSETTTTT
OH! Now I understand. (I'm naturally blonde- even if my hair has turned brown. XD) I'm sorry! That stinks!
I won't. I've got a friend with hair like that. I think it's really cool, actually. Mine is just boring.
Hahhah, yeah mine used to be really blonde, now it's a light brown with natural blonde and some red highlights. All of it is completely natural. I've never done anything to my hair except for get it cut.
Kate wrote: "I won't. I've got a friend with hair like that. I think it's really cool, actually. Mine is just boring."...would that friend be me?

You couldn't really see them any more because they were drowned out by the general blah-ness of my hair changing color. So my mom decided I ought to get highlights. :P
I WIN I WIN I WIN I WIN I WIN I WIN ^O^
Sorry to burst your bubble there, Emily.Taylor- Hahah, There are times that I think my hair looks horrible and I wanna dye it, but then there are also the days when I like how my hair looks.
My last band competition is next weekend. I'm super sad... Y is the band season so short? Can't it be just a few weeks longer. 8 weeks isn't enough in my opinion. But it does fill up your weekends! Every weekend from the 2nd weekend in september to the first weekend in november! Fri- Play at the football game, get home around 10. Sat- Wake up at 5:30 and get home around 2 a.m. 20 hours!!!! It's like a huge sleepover!!! On a bus!!!! Fun times!!!!
since we're talking about hair...um...I don't have blonde hair (just boring brown), but I used to have a mix of blonde and red in it. It also used to be super straight. sadly, as I get older, it becomes slightly wavier and browner. I don't know how you do it Whitney...I would probably die
Nat- temporarily. XD You were closeWhitney- HAVE FUN! That's sad that it's almost over, but have a good time.
Giulia- Yeah, we get off onto tangents sometimes. lolz. And in this topic it doesn't matter all that much. But I'm so glad my hair's always been pretty much pin-straight. It's a LOT easier to deal with than if it hadn't been.
Thanks guys!!!!!!!!!! We had an excelent performance yesterday and I believe that we will do excelent next weekend at our last performance
No problem. It's one of the things about this group and GR in general that I love- we're all so supportive of each other! It's like the Starkid Fandom!
Indeed! So I spent most of yesterday at Occupy Phoenix... Anybody else been a part of their local Occupy movements?
They're offbranches of the occupy wall street movement. Essentially they're protesting corporate greed. I was *supposed* to go to one this past weekend, but something came up, so I'm hoping to go in two weeks.
Anna, you won!Anyways...huh, I didn't know what it was either, Giulia. That's kinda cool. I don't think any have been held in my area.
Really it's just a bunch of people who are angry about the fact that only 1% of the nation holds most of the wealth and controls business. The protestors keep chanting "We are the 99%", meaning they are the ones who have no control and are tired of it. A lot of the people who were at Occupy Phoenix didn't really have one set grievance. People are just angry at the government, and they're using Occupy Wall Street as a forum to air their grievances. Once they come together with a joint cause (if they ever do), this could be a legitimate revolution. A lot of the people I heard speaking on Saturday were talking about revolution and rebellion, and these are the kind of people who would make it happen.
I was joking around about that chant, though... When we marched around the block, everyone was chanting "We [beat] are [beat] the 99%!" I looked at my friend, and to the time with the chant, I said, "We [beat] need [beat] something new to chant!" It got old real fast.
So this is weird. Considering we were talking about this in history today.... I'm a bit spooked, to tell the truth. Also, has anyone read The Son of Neptune yet? I enjoyed it more than the first, I think because Percy was in it.
Kate wrote: "It sounds like it would be cool to be in one of them."I am SO SO SO glad I took part. It was a really neat thing to see. I got to talk to a lot of people who I shared views with, who I wouldn't've been able to talk to otherwise. I learned a lot about the problems people are seeing with government. And from a sociological perspective? It was the most fascinating thing ever.

Haha stuff like that happens to me all the time! We'd talk about something in one of my classes and next day or later that day I'd see it someplace else. It's cool though.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, Taylor. It really does sound like an awesome time. (Sorry I was gone for so long. My brother got married and we had family from Norway staying with us.)
ooohhh...I get it, sorry for being thick. Thanks for explaining it to me, Taylor =)I haven't heard of the son of neptune.
Way-chan: congrats to your brother
