How've you never seen Elf, gosh it's everywhere everybody's so sick of it when we did a poll to see what movie everybody wanted student council to put on last afternoon of classes all we got was "not elf" "anything but elf"

Day after Christmas, day people get off work so they can box up all the Christmas decorations, or at least that's what it's intended for

Also big sales it's like the biggest sale day of the year (at least in Canada)

Ohhhh. Okay. We basically have the same thing I've just never heard it called Boxing Day. And most people don't put away decorations until after New Years....at least the people I know.

It's mainly about the sales now. Sales, sales everywhere. The shops are packed and traffic is rubbish, xD
I just like having a "day" right after Christmas. You don't do anything to celebrate (except shop, or some people do, and it's a holiday), but it takes the edge off the anticlimax of Christmas being over. Like, "here's a useless holiday to recover". Rather than just being the 26th.
