I don't actually hate school. It's just an expression of my frustration at not having much time.

Exactly. Of course, some of that is my own fault because of the extracurriculars I do, but some of them are through school, and the bulk of it is still just regular schoolwork, followed by school sports.

Story of my LIFE right now. Stage managing a play, in Glee Club, NHS, World Studies Club and We The People Club, PLUS 3 AP classes and two electives in which I actually have work. In addition to home stuff.

Yesterday I had to stay after for 2 club meetings. I got home at 5. By the time I cooked dinner, it was 6. By the time we ate it was 6:30, and by the time I was done with the dishes I was running late to my rehearsal, which started at 7. Got home at 10, and guess what? Still had to do homework. In addition to (once again my fault, because I like doing this) going over my notes from that rehearsal and figuring out what I still need to do.

Needless to say I was exhausted and fell asleep before I finished everything. ;)

Today was an EPIC day. :)

My Glee club performed in front of my whole school yesterday. I had a solo and I didn't make a complete fool out of myself! And then the rest of the day I had people coming up to me telling me how great I did. Which felt pretty awesome.

After that we had our school homecoming carnival, which I stayed at for the whole time. It was a lot of fun and it was really cool to see, because we haven't done a carnival in four years. And then the homecoming football game was last night too, which I went to. We lost by 21 but it was still fun to hang out with my friends for a few hours.

That's a pretty awesome sounding day.

Apparently our school is going to have homecoming on October 22nd this year, which is really stupid. First of all, we always have a pep rally the Friday of homecoming weekend, but this year we don't have school that Friday. Then, the really stupid thing is that by that point the regular season is over for a lot of sports, so there's no guarantee that they will have any games, let alone home ones. *finishes random rant*

The thing is, I don't even care that much. I don't go to the dance, and since I'm on cross country and will have a meet (somewhere else) I'm not going to be going to any of the games. It's just stupid.
