Kate | 8205 comments *Cheers for Rae*

The welcome email better come as an acceptance letter to Hogwarts.

I'll be gone for a week starting next Sunday, and of course I'll post less once school starts, but that's in over a month, so I've still got time. :)

message 2052: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Me too, Rae.

That's awesome, congrats! I wonder how it decides which house we are going to be sorted in to.

That would be so cool, Kate.

message 2053: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Nat- there's a quiz, and once you're sorted, you're stuck in that house. ^_^

Thanks!

message 2054: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Oh, cool. I wonder... Herm. That one I took I was Hufflepuff (Jigglypuff), but all are different, so I wonder which house I will be sorted into. I don't really care which one.

message 2055: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments I'm Gryffendor/Ravenclaw (Rainbowdash/Mushu) [PIGFARTS!] in everything I take.

message 2056: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments The last one I took said that I was Ravenclaw, but if you looked at the scores, I was equal parts Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, which were only a little ahead of the Gryffindor score. And then came Slytherin, I am proud to say, a long way behind.

The problem with those quizzes is that I never feel like I answer them honestly. I don't like talking about myself. I always feel like I am bragging.

message 2057: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments I don't really mind which house I'm in. As long as I'm a Hogwarts student, I'm cool.

message 2058: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments Exactly.

message 2059: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Just of of curiosity, which house do you think I would be sorted into?

message 2060: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments I don't know. That's a good question. Ravenclaw?

What about me?

message 2061: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Ravenclaw?

Kate, I think you'd go into Ravenclaw. That's just off of what I know about you.

message 2062: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments I think it really depends on how JKR made the quiz! I'm curious to take it!

message 2063: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments It definitely depends on how they made the quiz. I really want to see what it is. I wish they could just look in your head like the Sorting Hat really does though. It would be so much more accurate. ;)

Nat, I take it back, I think you'd be Gryffindor.

message 2064: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments More accurate, but in this case, just a tad creepy! :P

message 2065: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Just a bit, but it's be better that way- and besides you know that in every single personality quiz (or something of the like), no matter what topic it's on, the answers are always obvious as to which house matches up with the answer so you know that there will be people trying to get a specific house.

message 2066: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments I'm hoping that since JKR made the quiz, it won't be quite so obvious.

message 2067: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Yeah, hopefully not.

message 2068: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments I hope so too.

So, while rereading Twilight, I noticed some things I did not notice before... First of all, Bella isn't THAT bad. Sure, she's not great, but it's Kristen Stewart that's bad. I loathe Kristen Stewart, she totally ruined her. I don't imagine her as Bella, and Bella, not Stewart, actually isn't that bad. And when Edward sucked James venom out of Bella... wouldn't his venom be in her then?

message 2069: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid That would make sense.
If Edward sucked out venom, but had venom...

message 2070: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments Don't EVEN get me started on the MANY inconsistencies in this series.

message 2071: by Mayze (new)

Mayze Twilight really annoys me, so I'm with Taylor.

message 2072: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid Yup, I agree.
Twilight was...
*Searches for words*
Was,was, was...

message 2073: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments I love Twilight.

message 2074: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments I did too, at one point. And then I tried to reread it. For me, the definition of loving a book means I can reread it over and over and over and never get sick of it... And I got sick of rereading Twilight after two chapters.

message 2075: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid The same thing happened to me, Taylor. The exact same thing.

message 2076: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments Anna wrote: "Twilight really annoys me, so I'm with Taylor."

I am not a fan of Twilight, and there are many inconsistencies/major annoyances. The thing about the venom, though, is that I think it's transferred by biting. Since Edward didn't bite, he didn't transfer any venom. That's just my theory though. For all I know it's just a huge gaping inconsistency.

message 2077: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments Glad I'm not alone then!

message 2078: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments This is my third time rereading.

message 2079: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments More power to you!

message 2080: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments I liked them the first time around (my little 7th grader self. ^_^ lolz) but then the movie craze ruined it for me since I read the books about 2 months before the movie came out. And then i never did like them all that much afterwards- I AM going to Breaking Dawn in November, but my best friend's probably coming in from CO again for Thanksgiving so I'll go to hang out with her a bit.

message 2081: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments I do not like the movies, though I will see them, haha. I just hate Kristen Stewart. *shudders* And Rae? I believe you won.

message 2082: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Yeah, and a long win it was.

message 2083: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments You know that if I were here you wouldn't have won... :P But congrats! And shame on everybody that let her win!

message 2084: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments I know! How could they? This makes like 6 times at least! It's not right people!

message 2085: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments I don't know!! It's not!

message 2086: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments hahaa, it's like when you're on omegle.com looking for StarKids and can't find any!

message 2087: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments That's what happens when you have to leave the computer at an inopportune moment. I didn't have time to say anything, but then there was no "new comment" thing, so I didn't come back when I got back to the computer at least 12 hours later.

message 2088: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments I found one Rae, and I had the most awesome conversation! And then I had another one with somebody who has the same taste in music with me, and we gave eachother music... :)

message 2089: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Nice! I've been StarKid spamming when I've been on.

Yeah, the 'new comment' things don't always work.

message 2090: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments No, it worked (this time), that was the problem. It was no longer a new comment, but I hadn't commented, nor did I have anything to remind me to go back to the topic.

message 2091: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments That happens sometimes. But I hate when there's obviously a new post (you haven't been on in 7 hours and there's a comment posted 1 hour ago) but the thing isn't there.

message 2092: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments Yup. Or, (this one's happened to me a lot recently, but not before) when I get an e-mail saying that someone posted, but when I open it, someone else posted a day before them, and Goodreads never bothered to inform me of that fact. And then there's the issue of relying on their unreliable e-mails...

message 2093: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments Unreliable e-mails like the one that says you posted on this thread three hours after you did...

Congrats on winning again.

message 2094: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Rawr. But congrats.

message 2095: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Hahaha thanks. :) YOu guys are bad about that recently.

Hahahah yeah well it's never been something to trust. i really just check when im on.

message 2096: by Mayze (new)

Mayze You shall not win again!

message 2097: by Whitney :) (new)

Whitney :) (wvn1998) | 1808 comments I'm nevr gonna win this stupid game! Ug..

message 2098: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid I don't think anyone ever will. Except for Rae...

message 2099: by Whitney :) (new)
