Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Hahah, deep breaths. In and out. In and out.

message 1252: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid I'll do the ten thing. One. Two. Three---

message 1253: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Good for you

message 1254: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments This game has been getting so competitive lately!

message 1255: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments It has! I like it. :)

message 1256: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid I'm afraid that I'm terribly competitive.

message 1257: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments I'm sorry to hear that.

message 1258: by [deleted user] (new)

Way, I'm pretty sure that's a good thing. At least, in this game it is.

I can be. It's a family trait. Christmas round my house means game time, and it gets vicious. Hilariously so. ;)

message 1260: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Hahhah, thats amazing. I'm not that competitive, but if I'm put to a challenge, I'll generally accept.

It's the same in my family. Well, not my immediate family, but if you add my extended family in...
It gets dirty.

message 1262: by [deleted user] (new)

Man I would love to be a fly on the wall when that happens!

message 1263: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid My brother is also a really bad winner/loser. If he loses, he gets kind of grumpy and if he wins...
Ooh boy!
His head is the size of a watermelon.

message 1264: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments My uncle is a TERRIBLE loser. We were playing this game called Right Left Center at Christmas, and if you win you win money. It got down to my uncle and I, and he would get so freaked out when I got the dice that he was yelling at them (the dice) so I would lose. He ended up winning and was throwing the money he won in the air in victory. :) I love my family.

message 1265: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Hahah, that's pretty funny, Taylor

message 1266: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid Man, that is hilarious.
Don't you love funny relatives?

message 1267: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments My family's not that competitve, we joke around a lot though. We were playing Apples To Apples like 3 easter's ago with my cousins family and my cousins mom was picking the cards. I don't even remember what the green card was, but my cousins was receiving a hug or something similar. It grew into a family joke that we still remind him of today. And this year we were playing and said cousins girlfriend was over. Well, they have the same name. (The actual joke is "Alex needs a hug.") I think you can guess how much fun we have with that one.

message 1268: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments Shoot! Haha I thought I'd responded but I'm glad I checked otherwise Rae might've won again. ;)

Anyways. I love jokes like that, Rae, that must be fun. My family jokes around a lot, too. We're quite a sarcastic, smart-alecy bunch that is overwhelming when you get us all together and you're not used to it.

More examples of hilarious family competition:
1) You didn't think Pictionary could get violent? Think again.
2) You know the ski jump game for Wii Fit? We all spent HOURS Christmas of '09 trying to top each others' scores. People were getting shoved off the Fit board.
3) Ever played Taboo? You know the buzzer that comes with it? You haven't lived til you've had that thing repeatedly buzzed in your ear. :P

message 1269: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Hahaha, thanks, Taylor. :) lolz. It is a LOT of fun. That sounds pretty great. :)

message 1273: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments Bonjour.

message 1274: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments How do you do?

message 1275: by Whitney :) (new)

Whitney :) (wvn1998) | 1808 comments Wonderful!

message 1276: by Taylor (last edited Jun 04, 2011 06:54PM) (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments Goodreads hasn't let me post. I think it wants me to lose this game.

EDIT: REALLY?! That post went through? *is annoyed*

message 1277: by Jordan (last edited Jun 04, 2011 09:47PM) (new)

Jordan (flyinglogicmonkey) | 2426 comments Looks like you're not the only one, Taylor.

...Now I'm thinking about Tigger.

I forgot about this game. I don't need another time waster. Someone convince me of this. I'm already in summer mode.

message 1278: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments Well I suppose that's better than Goodreads being against me.

Great, Jordan, now I'm gonna have The Tigger Song stuck in my head.

You don't need another time waster... I'm the WORST person to try to convince you of this. I need to convince myself of this first.

message 1279: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments GR's against me too. *grumbles* I've had to attempt to post like 5 times on some comments.

message 1280: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments I gave up earlier. Let's see if this posts.

message 1281: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Yay! It did!

message 1282: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments I tried 9 times the last time before I gave up. I was annoyed.

message 1283: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Jeez. It seems to be working better today, though.

message 1284: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments So far. Let's hope it stays like this.

message 1285: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Yeah, I've had some trouble today, though. It's pretty annoying.

message 1286: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments I haven't been posting much today so I haven't really noticed anything.

The emails are still coming through a few hours late, though. Goodreads is really glitchy lately.

message 1287: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Yeah, but the emails are normally off a little bit. I wouldn't really know since I haven't checked my email since early this morning. (Alright, 11-ish, but it was early for me since i had gotten up like an hour before)

message 1288: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments That's early for me in the summer. And on weekends. :) And yeah, they're off a little bit. Like 5 minutes. Not 3 hours.

message 1289: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Okay, I'll give you that. I just get the daily e-mails. It can get to be a lot of e-mails if I went with the instant emails.

message 1290: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments Yeah... The daily ones don't work cuz I'm too lazy to look through it all. :P

message 1291: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Hahaha, I get tired of the 50 million emails- most of them come in while I'm on so there's too many to sift through if I'm having an active conversation.

message 1292: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments Yeah, I know what you mean. But it's nice when I'm multitasking. The only time it gets really crazy is when you and Kate are having a conversation I keep checking on. :P

message 1293: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Hahah, yep! We do that a lot. :)

message 1294: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments You certainly do. :)

message 1295: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments Same here!

message 1296: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid I don't even get the emails. I just go on Goodreads and look at the posts with the little 'new' thingy on them. *Shrugs* Same with Facebook. I just don't like getting notification emails.

message 1297: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments They're helpful. Otherwise I forget which ones to look at. :P

message 1298: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid I just keep my groups to low numbers.
I don't want a bunch of groups that are inactive so I just keep the best ones.
This is one of the best ones.

message 1299: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments Glad you think so. ;) I think so too.

This is really the only group I'm active in anymore...

message 1300: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments I'm only really active in a handful of groups......I wish I was more active, but really theres not a lot for me to put into the other groups without me being extremely repetitive since the subject that they're based around. THis is really the only non-roleplaying-based group that I'm in that I'm active in.
