I think that since we're in the latter part of the year things start to slow down. Holidays and winter make everyone busy here.

That's wonderful! Huzzah for vacation. ^_^ I am tired, but doing really well. Got to spend time with my friend for the first time in a couple of months, and I am so very blessed and happy. This Thanksgiving shall be a very good one. YAY FOR PIE! Tomorrow is going to be big Thanksgiving prep for my family.

Thanksgiving is when we celebrate the harvest (not quite as literally as when we think Thanksgiving originated) and all the blessings and good things that happened during the year. It's not a religious holiday. Oh, and Canada has one too, though it's earlier than November.
