Yeah.
My friends and I used to do this thing where we'd just have conversations with one word "Yeah..."

Apparently the Australian government wants to amend the Racial Discrimination act. If successful, forms of cyber racism and racial abuse that are currently against the law will become lawful activities.
So yeah. People have started a petition. I signed it and yeah.

It is a book ( not upset at) that was turned into a movie ( upset with)
They're turning a lot of books into movies. Good books into movies too. Good books that they're turning into movies that I"m too scared to watch because of the book's awesomeness... Too scared they'll ruin the book's awesomeness.
Don't watch Enders Game they ruined the awesomeness!!!! ( okay it is still awesome as a movie but not compared to the book)

A boy who goes to this battle school to train to win a war against a bug-like species he is also a super genius and has really bad emotional problems because of bad things he did he is tenish by the end of it by the way

It is super cool Ender has some big problems first watch the movie so you don't get all disappointed with it.

It is rather terrible. I tend to keep my head out of politics though. Politics related stuff tends to get all terribly complicated and rather frustrating as a whole. But this is rather... upsetting.
The Racial Discrimination Act currently prohibits any action to be performed on the basis of someone’s race, ethnicity and or nationality if it is likely to offend the person or people in question. What’s important to realise however, is that this is not just an act ensuring equality, but rather an assertion that acknowledges the importance of tolerance and acceptance in multicultural communities. It sends a message to people that civility is considered a fundamental factor in a cohesive society.
Over the past year, 20 per cent of Australians have reported experiences of overt racism. This statistic shows this is not a matter of either flippancy or disembodied political philosophy, for these people racism is a reality they live daily.

This is whilst the Racial Discrimination Act is still in action. Without it, I fear racism could and may increase... And that scares me.
