Be glad you don't have have a mum who grumbles at you for sleeping in past 8, and makes you help with the house cleaning as soon as you wake up, or drags you off the the market in the early hours of the morning to do the fortnightly grocery shop.

She really is a nice mum in spite of that.

Well, I have just a wee bit of that but not much. I love that word: fortnight. But of course:)

She's an excellent mum. Not too harsh, but not too generous either. Seriously, some kids just get everything. And they're the worst ones.

I'd say that about mine. She's not terribly generous (In that we get to do/have whatever) but not too strict. The spoiled rotten ones. *disgusted* Those annoy me to no end.

I know right! When I was in year 6, we had this end-of-term party in which we were allowed to bring our technology (i.e. phones, nintendos etc). I'd brought my new 4g iPod.

So this girl comes up to me with her 3g iPod, and asks for what generation I had. I answered with fourth generation, of course, and then she replies with:

"Oh! You're so lucky!!"

I paid for this iPod. Saved up for it. And this was before the prices dropped. She got hers from her mum, and it wasn't even a birthday present! Some people just don't understand how lucky/unlucky they are.

Nah, that's fine. I completely understand. Our generation, for the most part, is so coddled, it's absurd.

They take everything for granted, and their parents everything they want. It makes me so annoyed.

I'm saving up for an Ipod touch. Not going too well. All I have to get money is doing chores. And birthday and Christmas money. And Christmas isn't anytime soon, and my birthday is in about a month. So, again, it's not going too well.

I want to buy a laptop so I can write in my bed or while watching TV. But they're so expensive and my mom probably wouldn't let me get one for a while anyways.

Nopers. Friday was chaotic and we always stay home on weekends. Hopefully I'll get to see it with my brother soon.

I went with sister and little brother on Friday. It was good. Lots of action and character development. 1 will always be my fave though.
Plus, our theater had just remodeled so everything smelled new. And they got new seats, they ROCK. Like actual ROCKING CHAIRS. And bigger screens and digital picture, and the lobby has leather seats and tables now. And prices are cheaper for tickets. I'm most pleased. Oh, and the coupon changed from buy 2 tickets, get 1 free to buy 1 ticket, get 1 free.

Well, I'm really excited for Doctor Who this week. Besides the fact of NEIL FRICKING GAIMAN, there will be a short prequel after the episode of the Doctor and Clara talking to the camera about how little they know about each other. I'll be called "He Said, She Said." I'm so excited... and worried. All the Whoufflepuffs are very worried.
