It's Not PMS, It's You - Relationship stories

I just finished Deb's book It's Not PMS It's You and I loved it. At first glance one might think it's a male bashing book, but it's absolutely not. It is about the hilarious differences between the male and the female species. My favorites were the Gone With the Wind chapter and at the end the Mike and Christy blogs. Speaking of Gone With The Wind one of the most hilarious things I have ever seen(while being from Atlanta) when a friend of mine, who was really edgy crude, while visiting a "Tara" site in Jonesboro, Georgia, went up into an upper room of a historical house and leaning out the window sing songing in her most southern accent and bumping her rear end back and forth over a crowd of sight-seers "Oh, Ashley, How you do go on, and on,and on!" The crowd was aghast !!!

The Mike and Christy blogs were hilarious and yet realist Lay off the crossword puzzles and write another book Deb. We'll be waiting!!!

I have had a really sh*tty day! First my small new laptop crashed on me and my computer whiz of a husband is in Atlanta for a few days visiting our youngest daughter and grandson. I'm having to use his computer, a Mac that I've almost forgotten how to use. The light burned out in his office and I'm practically sitting in the dark. How he manages to see is beyond me. Then I tried to call him all day and his phone was turned off and if I could have gotten my hands on him I would have strangled him. Finally I realized that he didn't have his cell phone with him, he had mine because I just got an iphone, which I love. I have an asthmatic cough which caused a pulled muscle in my back which causes me to hurt in my back when I have to cough. How's that for what came first, the chicken or the egg? I think that I am the only one in the USA sitting on a heating while in the middle of a heat wave. Not only that but I just felt something biting me while while writing this comment and I just pulled a big black ant off of my neck! Yikes! Then I went to clean out my fishbowl that I had a beta fish in and I noticed that he had died. I really didn't know what to do with him and so I closed my eyes and flushed him down the toilet. I think he died of old age because they live to about 4 yrs. I called my husband to tell him my fish had died and he asked me what I did with him and I told him. He burst into hysterical laughter and I asked him why he was laughing and he said "I thought you might have put him in the freezer to wait for me to get home so we could have a funeral!" He actually got me to laugh so I felt better. I don't think anything else is going to happen today, at least I hope.

Tomorrow, tommorrow...it's only a day away.

Thanks Lisa and Erika, today's a new day and the humidity is still high in the dear old land of buffalo. There is usually a breeze but none today! At least it doesn't last for months here like it does in the southI

I think I'm going to color my hair to put the faded autumn color back in it. I think my husband is getting homesick, he's talking about coming home early.

Very funny Carol (Kitty)! No, not yet but the grey is showing. I've been coloring my hair since the grey showed up when I was 21. Unfortunately, I passed that gene onto my daughter and I color her hair too. She is a strawberry blond. My natural color when I was a kid was reddish brown. I just started enhancing it when I started coloring it. I have made my whole family promise me that they will get someone to come in and color my hair if I am ever sick and have a long hospital stay. Ha Ha

Hubby's on his way home from Atlanta. He misses me Yeh!

Here I am bragging but I won my third Goodreads book from First Reads Give Away. The first book was It's Not PMS, It's You, Thank You Deb. The second was The Lost and Forgotten Languages Of Shanghai which was wonderful, read my review, please. And the third is In a Heartbeat. I just got the notice this morning.
