I do think that...or like the "woke up as an angel or ghost after I have died". I think she wasn't completely creative when it came to that piece.

She might have been. Now that you mention it, it does seem that way!Meghan: S'okay! I do it all the time. Plus, Elyssa has already finished, so you're not alone. :).
Assignment for tomorrow (07 August, 2010): Chapters 21 - 22, pages 407 - 451.
Yes, but I haven't been able to get on to post. Sorrys! Okay, so today's assignment was supposed to be Chapters 23 - 25, pages 452 - 511.Do you guys want me to give y'all tmr to read this as well, or a new assn in the morning??
Morning please! If you need someone to post chapters every 2-4 days just let us know. One of us will help you out.
How sweet is it that the family gave them a house so that they could spend some time together? If you didn't love the Cullen's already, you would after something as sweet as that. As for Jacob... if things had gone wrong I think that Edward might have actually damaged him.
Thanks! I might have to send one of you the rest of the assignments to post. I always seem to forget. :(.IKR?! (Haven't gotten that far; remembering from last read.) And yes, they are the sweetest family anyone could ask for! :D
Okay, had school this morning, and woke up late, so had no time to post. Tonight's assn:
Chapters 26 - 28, pages 512 - 553.

I love that his family gave them the house. I don't this most people would consider their in-laws this amazing. I don't think my boyfriends parents used to like me very much, but it seems things have come around a bit. The Cullens are pretty much a warm, amazing, welcoming, accepting family that anyone could love.
Z: You can feel free to send me the Chapter assignments especially for the weekdays. When I get into work, I immediately turn on my computer and check what people posted the night before. Weekends I may be a little slow because I wake up later and always seem to have things going on. I also have a suggestion to not put page # because the numbers vary between editions like now there is the paperback version which I am sure has a different page count and I know my ebook version has a different page count.
Anytime I had an ex whose family didn't like me it just built issues into the relationship. I hope it gets better for you. My husband's grandparents on one side are really supportive, but it seems in a "just to be nice" way so it's always bothered me. However, his parents would have adopted me if I hadn't married their son and his other set of grandparents think I'm the best thing to ever happen to him so it balances out.I guess it's easier if they're not close to their family. I always seem to get the mama's boys. Although, my mother in-law is a mix between white trash, hillbilly, and hippie so she doesn't let him become too attached. She's all about him getting the chance to make his own life. Whereas mine tries to micromanage my life. I love his mom. I got lucky. She's Esme (minus the refined side), with a side of Rosalie if you tick her off.
His parents have finally "accepted" me I guess is the word. And I think his dad always liked me but his mom was the one who didn't. But all the girls in his mom's family gossip and talk crap behind the others back. I used to work at a restaurant and she came in and started talking about my boyfriend to me and then was horrible to her waitress. But ever since his sister started dating a real "tool" (which she recently married because she got pregnant) they have come to like me. I know what you mean about your mom though mine is the same way. I don't really care when you post the chapters I have finished the book but I still like to respond to the questions and things. Plus I think it is pretty much just Z, you, and myself in the Buddy Read now.
Yeah, same here. Because Elyssa finished the book long ago. I guess just every 2 days. And Meghan. You have a point there. I didn't think about that with the diff editions and all. :).
I don't really have any experience with the whole "boyfriend" thing y'all are talking about, so I'm just gonna stay on the sidelines and read :).
I dated a guy in college and I was his first girlfriend. His mom couldn't acknowledge that her son was going to date eventually. I tried, but she helped push the relationship over the edge. When you're weighting whether or not you still love someone despite all their faults it's sad that their parents would come up on a con list.
Remembering what Meg said, the pages are only for the hardback edition. So everyone might not be able to use the pgs part. :).
I did!!!!!! I wanted way more...I was expecting more excitement, more thrill, more...something. I think that was one of the poorest endings I have seen.
Yeah, the ending really could have been better. It just left us hanging. She should have wrote an epilogue or something.
They just got this big battle scene together and then no battle. Meyer said that she didn't want to have to kill anyone off. I get it, but still. I know they're dramas and not action books, but 3 was great because of the mix of drama and action. This was a stalemate.I'd already read it so I knew how it ended, but it still gets to me.
