Ok, I'm going on a mission trip to Mexico on July 12 and my youth pastor wants all of us to write a paper on why I am a Christian. Any ideas?

I was raised in a Christian home but I am a Christian because I want to be. It's my relationship with Jesus, not my parents, not my youth pastor, not my siblings, my own.

Write about what you feel makes you a Christian, why do you want to go on this mission trip. What do you do for God? Do you worship? Sing, pray everynight. How does it feel to when you think of God? Does he make you feel like your flying? Pick you up when you fall? Just some ideas! I have more if you need any more just tell me.

how's this one...because all other faith's leaders died, and still are dead...ours is not. HE is risen, and lives with the Father GOD almighty. How's that?Peace

Thanks for your help guys! I basically said that I need a savior and Jesus died for me so I could live in heaven with him. Then I wrote my testimony.

I'm a Christian because I've uncovered faith and trust in God. Jesus has blessed me abundantly, and I try to love him as much as possible.

...you know, even if Almighty GOD never showed me one material thing(which time and again HE has)in this sin filled life, i would still have the faith that he lived, and died and was resurrected to save me from a devil's Eternal Hell! Do you know why?
Because the Bible told me so.

You WILL in time. If you let His Sprit take the main role, and not your flesh or this World system.
I'm but an older, more mature, still growing believer. You still have questions and are skeptical.
God wants only the best for you and by extension, so do I. All Christ believers need to stay aware and build each other up...this world breaks us down daily. The Word, not the World is our only real refuge now. It's His voice. Listen.
