I wasn't forced to read it, and I still disliked it... I think I might have liked it more if I hadn't had such high expectations for it.
well, my expectations for books i read at school r usually low. so if its good, i don't fall asleep reading it and end up failing english.
Yeah. I read that last year and I got SOOOO bored sometimes. I found it kinda. . . weird.

actually, I might get flack for this...but one really popular book that I've never felt the urge to read is PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER. Idk, maybe because I'm such an anti-book snob or whatever, but I have this weird aversion to books that mainstreamers find popular. Except HP. and PJ. and HUNGER GAMES. but including MOCKINGJAY... hmmmm :P
Mockingjay (Hunger Games, #3) ruined the Hunger Games Trilogy for me.
Im still reading Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl. I have it on the side as my '2nd book'. Its so dull. Im sorry, and I realize I may have offended some people, but it is woeful.
If your looking for a good holocaust book, try The Book Thief over Anne Frank any day of the week.

I loved MOCKINGJAY!!!!! i just didn't like the epilogue.
what?! the epilogue was so rushed!!
I still haven't given it the dignity of starring it.My mum just finished the series, and while she wasn't as irked with Mockingjay as I was, she still disliked it.

That is the reason I own, like, 400+ books on my shelf."
I would guess we own close to 1,000 books, if not more, and that is with going to the library at least once a month. (not to mention the holds that my mom picks up for me about once a week, if not more)
If I didn't have an amazing library, I would either live on the streets due to bankruptcy, or in an insane asylum for lack of books.
Yeah. I read the first because I wanted to see why everyone loved them. I couldn't find it. The writing, characters, and plot were all awful.(Yes I know that not everyone agrees with me)
Agreed. Has anyone seen my little group of twilight haters with deadly weapons? ((Guys, now is a good time to post.))
You know, the worst way to kill something is to read Twilight to it/them. So how the h*** do we kill Twilight? It'd be like assited suicide or something...
Well, you're just a freakin' genius!!!
The only problem would be, with the books dead, how do we kill the movies??? This is truly a predicament...
Show them a pic of 'Edward.' *Simles* Crush my waffles here I come. Plus, T.T.H.G.O.T.W. is getting a new member.
Yay! That is totally the way to crush the waffles. Or a picture of Taylor Lautner. You have no idea how creepy he can be.
the worst book i have ever try i didnt finish was forever from judy blume i think that book is disgusting...
Emily wrote: "the worst book i have ever try i didnt finish was forever from judy blume i think that book is disgusting..."I agree with you, Emily. It was on our required reading in one of our college classes, and my friend and I asked the professor to take it off. She refused (and was really rude about it), so we went to the Chair of the English department...long story short, the book got taken off the required list, and the professor isn't there anymore... :P
