I totally Loved Jasper this movie! He ROCKED!

I like Jasper's story and that he got more screen time, but my goodness, do they go out of the way to give him the most ridiculous looking hair possible? He's a good looking guy, but they seem to make a real effort to disguise that under hideous wigs. Sigh...Alas, I loved the film and plan to see it a second time, next week.
That's his natural hair style or was before he shaved or cut it for The last Airbender, but it was just dyed for the movie. I've seen pictures of him in his band and he always had that hairstyle.
I think all the blonde Cullens wear wigs because bleaching their hair made it fall out.
Andrea, I have no life so it makes sense. Besides, I LOVED the scenes between E/B, especially the proposal! Every time I have been it, my heart just flutters when he gets choked up.AH, when I went on Saturday, the little ones were screaming when you first see Jake without a shirt. It was funny but when the audience LOL it took away Edward's funny line. Plus the woman sitting next to me wouldn't stop giggling (she wasn't of the 'correct' age to really giggle), plus she would leaven over to her friends and make comments (yes, I wanted to punch her as she was so annoying).
BTW, the actress who plays Leah came out to the audience and thanked us for our support! I have to admit it was pretty cool..

I know what you mean, all the girls screaming everytime jacob was without his shirt. Its fine and all to be excited but I hate missing what the conversation is cause girls just scream like mad lol.
I had a bunch of girls next to be giggling with their moms, the girls had to be in high school so the moms were older. It annoyed me to almost wanting to punch someone. I just wanted to enjoy the movie.
Thankfully it was a pretty good movie compared to the other two.
Kristen, I mean if I liked Jake, OK then I might, might scream too but since there is no magic, it just kills me. Good to know that a fellow sister wanted to punch too. All I could think about when the lady was giggling was why did you even spend the money to see the movie? I can think of ways to spend money on something you will acutally LIKE! I agree about the last two movies, it was nice to see them on the big screen but Eclipse just takes the cake..

The audience at my cinema was actually pretty old (well not full of 16 year olds anyway! lol) so there were no screamers which was great! There were a few gasps when we saw Jacob's bare chest for the first time but that was about it. It was very civilised! lol
I would wanna punch out people as well if they distracted from Edward in any way, shape or form!!! ;)
I saw Eclipse in the early afternoon just to avoid all those screaming girls and I must say I had a great audience.. just a few hoots and wows whenever shirtless Jacob was onscreen but I didn't mind because I was one of them...lol. Eclipse is the best of the saga so far and it has me longing for BD already. I loved the kiss between Jacob and Bella, it showed his innocent desperation and it made me want her to choose him. Taylor Lautner's a gorgeous young man and he's totally my JACOB. The tent scene, the proposal and the fight scenes were all just great. Yay for David Slade and the actors... Personally I think the whole Bella & Edward relationship is 80% obsession and possession & 20% love. It's kind of creepy, not at all my cup of tea but that's just me. I love that they kept mostly to book, it made me feel appreciated as a fan of SM's books. 4 to 4 1/2 stars :-) I wish that David Slade was directing BD as well...
Went with a friend on Monday and loved it! Each movie gets better than the last...just like the books. The action was good and they stayed as true to the book as they could. Looking forward to Breaking Dawn! Hopefully they stay true to that book as well.
LOVED Eclipse!! Saw it Friday night in the IMAX theater with assigned seats. Much better than opening night, waiting in line to get ran over by a teenager to get a seat. The acting by the younger charcters has gotten so much better. Loved Jasper in this one. I'm team Edward because I have a love for vampires that goes way back but I certainly understand the drooling over Jacob. I felt the movie followed the book very well and I really liked how they told the stories of how Rose and Jasper were turned. Can't wait for Breaking Dawn.

What he had this time was still overly processed, but so much better.
I wish they had shown Alice waiting for him in the diner (I think that was where she was sitting waiting for him in the past). I loved that scene.
Rosalie's hair also finally looked good. Now the issue was Bella's wig. Can't they just do extensions like the rest of the world? You would think they wouldn't have the money for it.

Bella's hair was driving me mad as well, because her hair usually looks so effortlessly cute, but the wig just didn't work.Though the audience was pretty well behaved when I saw the midnight show, I'm looking forward to watching it again on a Monday matinée, where it should be fairly empty and quiet.

I saw it Sunday and I loved it. My favorite scene was when Jacob and Edward were talking things out in the tent. It was very enlightening for both of them. I don't find Edward controlling. I think Bella knows her own mind and she gets her way pretty much most of the time, except about the sleeping together part. I think I have a crush on Jasper now. I loved his backstory.
I don't think Bella and Edward are obsessed. They are soulmates and they have a great love. I think Jacob is obsessed with Bella.

I went to the Midnight show with my besties and Loved it! I also went over the weekend and watched it with my daughters and they loved it as well. I agree that the acting has improved. Although I think it has alot to do with the director's. And Kristen is finally getting more relaxed. I wasn't to happy with the first one but the last two have been awesome and I feel they're doing a better job following the books. There were no stupid Spider Monkey comments in this movie, thank god! Bring on the Breaking Dawn movies, I can't wait!

He should get an award for patience. Edward's protection of Bella borders on controlling her, again obsession :-)
Edward wants Bella alive too but Bella wants to be with Edward forever. She couldn't be with Jacob anyway because he didn't imprint on her. She would end up like Leah Clearwater. Besides, that's how love triangles work. Someone is always left out in the cold.

Bella has the right to choose for herself. Even if Jacob thinks he knows best for her, he doesn't. It's her decision. That's why I liked the talk in the tent so much. Jacob and Edward realized they had something in common. Bella is strong-willed, and what she wants doesn't always go in line with what either of them want. But at least, Edward respects Bella's wishes. Jacob seems to want Bella to want exactly as he wishes for her, and that's not really fair. To me, that doesn't show true love. Just my opinion. To be honest, I think Jake needs some time to mature and realize a few things. Bella is his good friend, and he loves her, but she's not his soulmate. She's Edward's soulmate. I agree with what you said, Shannen.
Lady Danielle - ITA with you about Edward and Bella. They are soulmates and I stand next to ya for that! I like Jake but his attitude just killed me at times in the movies and books. Granted in the book Twilight, he was tame, a little punk at the Prom but otherwise OK. In NM and Eclipse, he was a jerk at times and the first thing he was to Bella was a friend. He didn't quite act like that once he become a werewolf and gave her attitude for falling in love with a vampire!
If I remember correctly, not all the wolves imprint. Anyways, I think something is wrong with Bella in the first place for getting so close to someone who wants more that anything to suck her dry. Yes Edward continually tries to make her see that being alive for as long as she can be is the best thing but then he gives in. It's like a mother giving her child a set rat trap to play with because he wants it and keeps going after it...lol. I still think that Bella and Edward are obsessed with each other. He's testing his restraint and she's addicted to the thrill. She and Jacob were childhood friends before Edward was around then she went away. It would have been as easy as breathing with him but she prefers constantly being at deaths door. Again something wrong with her...lol
Cece, what about if she had hooked up with Jake? Look at what happened to Emily? Might the same thing happen to Bella if she happened to push Jake's buttons? In the movie, when she tells Jake of her plans after graduation, he throws something. Not only does she jump, she moves slightly away from him cause she is scared.
I think you are hitting on a good point here. Being with Jacob would potentially be just as dangerous as being with Edward. Actually, once she becomes a vampire, she's not really at risk with Edward, except for giving up her human life, and her soul, which Edward worries about much more than Bella. I think that Bella has thought through the risks, and she knows what she wants. Jake did help Bella to see what her choices was, and he actually made it clear that a life with Edward was right for her.

I loved the movie!!!I love both Edward and Jacob though i lean more toward Edward.
I felt sad for Jacob at first because he loves Bella and she doesnt love him as much as Edward but in the end (breaking dawn) it all turns out well and both Edward and Jacob have their soulmate everyone has a happy ending
