WHAT IN THE NAME OF MY COMPUTER IS A blinking DEVICE?

(( DX i wanna add on but... i dont know, for some reason, i have trouble coming up with parts about nerida and cosa..... hmph...... so somebody else! do something so that we can switch back to carolyn and chase XD))
Suddenly out of the bushes sprung a creature that looked like a cross between a goat and a monkey with blue fur. "Nerida! there's been an attack! In Croomb City a whole block went mysteriously up in flames!"Cosa said, "Hang on there, in Croomb City?" the pooka nodded. "That's the northernmost city in magic territory."
"Yes, except that there aren't really very many magic beings who live there. A few trolls and some elves and faeries too i think."
Nerida spoke up, "I think we found them. Lets just hope that the humans didn't get them in that fire."
"What?" asked the Pooka.
"Nothing," Cosa growled.
"Top Secret!" Squealed the pooka, "I understand , yes i understand. Say nothing!" and with that it disappeared back into the bushes and shadows of the forest.
(pov switch now. That good hannah?)

Carolyn rubbed her sore thighs. "Wow, Chase, who knew you were so uncomfortable?"
Chase laughed and said, "Yeah, well, without me, you'd probably be dead by now."
"True, true," muttered Carolyn, "but ouch!"

((it's like a goat/monkey type animal in Eurpoe they are depicted as blueish and in America usually greenish. they speak in riddles to try to captivate people and get them to do what it wants them to. some think that it can see into the future. --try that jake long cartoon or The Unicorn Book))
"Don't worry, if you're sore, then just imagine how tired I am Carolyn""Ya, you stayed transformed almost all day, and you were doing the running, we'd better get some sleep."
Chase nodded and couldn't stop a yawn from coming out. he still wanted to ask Carolyn about the war and he hadn't been able to do that today because he was concentrating on not losing his transformation as the energy from his krisalidi ebbed.
he was too tired to talk now though, he was practically asleep where he stood. "We can Sleep in these bushes tonight," he Said. his voice was slurred with exhaustion and he practically collapsed into the bushes in the road ditch. he managed to crawl under their scant cover before he completely passed out though.
Carolyn sighed, she felt so unsafe out here on the moors. there weren't any trees nearby at all. everything was just so open and empty, and there were none of the soft voices of the leaves or the rougher voices of bark and branches whispering to sing her to sleep. she hated sleeping out here, it was too much like her old life - back in the real world - she didn't like to be reminded of it. Carolyn crawled under the bushes with Chase and cried herself to sleep, with her first bout of homesickness she had felt in over six months. but she cried only because she knew that there was no way to get home.

Carolyn woke up to find Chase once again standing with his arms spread wide, facing the sunrise, encased in a glowing orb. she crawled out from under the bush, looking around franticly. the only other time Carolyn had seen Chase with his Krisaildi they had been attacked by the humans and the voltron. the orb seemed to get smaller around Chase and slowly stopped glowing, disappearing before her gaping eyes.Chase turned and looked at her staring at him. "I didn't know you were up yet," he mumbeled, trying not to feel guilty. there was no reason to feel guilty.
"What was that, Chase?" Carolyn was scared and a little angry.Chase sighed, and started explaining his krisalidi

go to your profile, click edit profile, when you do go to delete/change photo. after that hit browse. any files you have stored in your home computer as pictures can be opened. then after you hit open on one of those pictures just click upload beside your prifile picture and it will change.

they had walked quite a way down the road when Chase finished explaining. "That's why i asked you about the Voltamon a while back. if Rencor is leading the supposedly human side of this war, how is he controlling something like my Krisalidi? By the way, u never really explained to me what this war was all about really."Carolyn didn't say anything for a while. "I wish Nerida was still alive, Chase. She might be able to make something out of all this.
As for the war, well it is pretty much human against non-human. though we do have seven humans helping us."
"What?" Chase asked confused.
"Well, when someone first comes here, they usually have their human form still, until they definitely decide what they are they keep that form. That isn't really what this war is about though, it just shows the prejudices in the war. the war really started when Rencor showed up. that was before i got here so this is just what a friend of mine told me. he said that the people who were already here weren't real people. and those of us who chose not to be human anymore were just as bad as the fake dream people. he also told them that we knew how get home. to return to Earth... or the real Earth anyway.
that's pretty much what's happening. the humans think the non-humans know how to send them home and they'll do anything to get back. we don't actually know anything more than the humans except that the way home is explained in this book that the two of us are looking for. the book was hidden hundreds of years age though, because it was said to hold information that would be too dangerous for people to know. stuff like mega weapons. Nerida thought that if we could find the book, then we could send the humans home, and maybe we, those of us who wanted to, could maybe go home too. that way the war would stop, and then the book could be destroyed"

((COOL STORY!!!!!!!! Uh, how abou this?))"Yes, stopping the war. That is a must," he mumbled. They walked along in silence for a few more minutes, then stopped at a stream to drink and refreshed themsevles. The girl was deep in thouht.
"wha..." chase stopped mid-word. Carolyn looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "What about you? what made you choose to be a dryad instead of a human? Where did you live before you came here?"she looked away from him and didn't answer. the silence between them stretched. "Why do we have humans who are helping us in our side of the war?" he tried instead.
Carolyn sighed heavily before answering. "Chase use logic. We have to depend on each other. don't you think the humans would outnumber us if we were that biased that we would refuse help? Think about it. Including Nerida there are only 14 elves. Cosa was one of a kind, there are only 5 dryads like me here, you are special Chase. You can be any of us... If we didn't stand together then the humans would overwhelm us. not all of them are unable to see past Rencor's lies or their own foolishnesses and assumptions."
"So, what's Rencor want out of this? Why did he start this war?" Chase said to himself. "Does he really believe we are hiding the way home for him or does he just want the dominance over the people in his army? And what about the Voltamon?"Carolyn sighed again. then after a turbid silence lasting too long for either of them Carolyn's clear voice cut through the sound of wind & grass, "It's a good thing the weather's been so nice, we'll be doing a lot of camping from here on out. We... well, I can't go into any towns in the humans territory. They'll have wanted posters up everywhere. At least you can go into towns and get us food and stuff like that." Chase had no answer for that and they continued on the rest of the day in depressed silence, each of them wrapped entirely in their own thoughts, memories & sadnesses.
That night the silence hung over them and seemed to cling to them the same way the thick fog did. Chase sighed and eventually asked, "You seem to know where we're going.""No," Carolyn looked at him. I think this road travels along to border though, because we've been traveling east since we left the city.
"Have any clues as to where exactly we need to go looking for this book?"
"I thought you said that your krisalidi showed you where it was?!""Only sorta. They showed me a forest, well almost a rainforest really, and a cave. the book was in that cave. but I don't see any trees around here let alone a forest."
((ok. i started this story like over a year ago, and i cannot believe yall have kept it going!! i'm so excited! um.. can anyone sum it up for me so i can keep writing?))
