YOU CHOOSE Progress Reports - ended Dec. 31, 2010
Thanks for posting your report in a brand new post, Karen! I hadn't even thought about looking for edited posts so who knows when (if!) I would have noticed your updates. Sorry about that.
I know, sorry I wasn't thinking my brain has gone to sleep since the start of the school holidays. :0)
Yay! Achieved my personal goal of finishing at least one book from each task before school starts again on Monday. The next 25 books will get read much more slowly than the first 32, when I go back to being a normal person with a job.

oh my gosh! I don't think I can keep up with you guys! Everytime I think I'm doing amazing I get on here and see i've fallen behind! Absolutely amazing! Well, here goes...Tasks Completed: 1/10
Total books read: 17
Tasks completed: 3/10Total Books Read: 43/100
I've set myself an individual challenge of having half of my books read by the time I go back to work, so I've got to get seven books read by the 23/8.

Thank you :-)
Total tasks completed: 3/10Total books read: 50/100
With two full days to go I have achieved my individual challenge of having half my books read before I go back to work.
Still a book short of completing another task, but I have also reached the halfway mark in total books - altho I set my total a little lower than Karen's!Tasks Completed = 1/10
Books Read = 45/90
Wow! Karen & BJ Rose are really setting the bar high for the rest of us!

Onarock...this challenge runs until the end of the year, so you have plenty of time. The overview of how it works is located here:http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/3...
To keep track of your books, go to:
http://www.goodreads.com/topic/group_...
and create your own thread with the books you have chosen to read. You may want to review some of the other participant's threads to get an idea of how people have organized their information. Hope this helps!
Thanks Amy for answering onarock's questionsNatasha, you can read as many books as you want. You can always change your goal or just go above and beyond if that's what you would like to do. :0)
You Choose *giggle*
Luann the title of the challenge was a clever one :0)

Glad I could be of help, Onarock. This truly is a great group that I feel so fortunate to have found. I have read so many different kinds of books since joining and love reading the reviews posted. You will get some great ideas and recommendations for things you don't typically read. Can't wait to read some of your recommendations and reviews! :-)

Thanks Luann for recommending Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweetand The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society loved them both. Does everyone who reads GL&PPS want to go to Guernsey - I do!
Happy to help, Leonie! Although it wasn't me for Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. It looks like a good book. I'll have to add it to my TBR! I did LOVE Guernsey, though! And yes, I want to go there!!
