Moved to SC from sunny FL and trying to figure out why it is chilly here. Heard from folks in Pensacola and it is chilly there too! Not use to this cool a weather. Today tho will be 64 after yesterdays 40. Then the temperatures are suppose to drop again!

I was born here in Michigan, but moved to Virginia (attended 1st grade), then Seattle (attended 2nd through 6th grade), and then moved back to Michigan.

I've always dreamed of living in Seattle again, but I imagine my husband and I will land somewhere near our children when they are adults. I'd really love to be in a big city. I'm a city girl deep down and long for the ability to walk everywhere or use public transportation instead of commuting around the burbs where everything is a 40 minute drive.

I was born and raised in Massachusetts. I've traveled greatly because of my ex-husbands job. Lived in Colorado, New Mexico, Georgia, and Florida. Now I'm back in Massachusetts.

I would like to retire to somewhere warm. I see myself back in Georgia.

I have just 5 more states to visit - Alabama, Mississippi, Hawaii, Alaska, and North Dakota. Must get to them!

Alaska is one of my favorites, I lived there for 3 years and I loved it! Hawaii is nice as well, I haven't lived there but visited often. I love traveling whether I am international or in the US, sounds like you have been to some wonderful places!

I come from a huge wildlife-loving family and my hope is to visit Knight's Inlet in Alaska to photograph the grizzlys during a salmon run. It was something my mom and I were planning before she took ill. If I make it there, I know she will be cheering me on from her place in the stars.

Happy Retirement, Danielle. My husband is a Marine and I keep slyly getting him to push his retirement. I love the travel and lifestyle. But, alas, he's set to retire next year (unless I can change his mind) and we'll have to decide where to settle. Hard decision. What made you choose Arizona? I have family in NM, so it's on our list of possibles.

Hawaii definitely holds a piece of my heart. :D I have family in Alaska, Charlene, and their photos and stories are amazing. I hope you're able to make it there one day.
