Don't worry about being a fraud. You question yourself. That is a good honest place to begin, explore from. I haven't written fiction or poetry in so long, I feel like a fraud writing this much. But we have to start somewhere, however imperfectly. Lately, I've been reading Lucia Berlin, a writer who you could say tortured herself with questions about her own authenticity. What a messy life, but she never let that stop her.
