I hope you love your job as I loved mine! I did work for a few years as a children's librarian, and enjoyed the challenge and the children. Then I moved to another area of the library. I love San Antonio! I remember attending a library conference there once, and did not want to go home when it was over! :)

Karen Holman | 88 comments This is a hint for the difficult books to find for North Dakota and Delaware. I have read Chuck Logan's After the Rain and felt it was a thriller not a cozy mystery however it is set in North Dakota. A Rett MacPherson book A Misty Mourning is set in West Virginia and is a cute story with a clever mystery. I also have Silent Rain by Karen Salvalaggio for Montana and so far so good. Hope this helps others
My list of states/books is number 429

Thanks, Karen! This is good info, and since I only have one book read in this challenge, I need all the help I can get! :)

Karen Holman | 88 comments Sorry for the confusion as the book I read for Delaware is on my list on message 429. If you like car racing this book is for you!

Julesy | 1415 comments Wyoming may be one of those more difficult states to find books, especially mysteries.

This ebook is a mystery, set in Wyoming: Above the Bridge by Deborah Garner. It seems to be FREE right now on Kobo, B&N, Amazon, and Apple.

I just found Sign Off by Patricia McLinn, book 1 in the Caught Dead in Wyoming series. It's free for Kindle.

Karen Holman | 88 comments I have just finished a cute cozy mystery set in Ogden, Utah. This book is called "Tutu Friendly" by Natalie M. Roberts so if you are looking for a Utah book this will fit the bill!

Hey Karen, I've read all 3 books in that series. They are great! Too bad there aren't more books in the series. I think the first book is called Tutu Deadly.

Karen Holman | 88 comments Reading challenge is now completed see message #429 for the books listed in this quest. It has been fun and now I do remember to list where a book is set in my review. This is a great way to visit different states without actually being there in person!

Julesy | 1415 comments Congratulations, Karen! Are you going to do the challenge again?

Yes, I would count those as being within the mystery genre.

Craig Johnson's Longmire series is set in Wyoming, if that helps.

Meg (makeli2) | 2336 comments Only two states left to go! I have to say it's been a fun journey with many great books (see message 437). I have the last two downloaded and hope to finish them in the near future.

Way to go, Meg. I'm not surprised Delaware and North Dakota are the two states remaining. Those were two of the harder ones, and I ended up reading non-cozy mysteries for both when I did this challenge: Dakota by Martha Grimes for ND and She'll Never Know by Hunter Morgan for DE.

message 467: by Meg (last edited Nov 13, 2017 04:26PM) (new)

Meg (makeli2) | 2336 comments Thanks, Heather! Yea, I was really surprised that there weren't more mysteries based in, at the very least, Delaware. I ended up with a juvenile mystery for that one, as well as a non-cozy, Corpus Delectable. Hoping the latter isn't too much.
