oh yea - missed it. Yes its "IMMORTAL" by VK Forrest. Actually a really good vampire series called Claire Point. Set in Delaware. A slightly different twist on the vampires existance and history. VK is a surname for Colleen Faulkner. I happened upon this series years ago in a book store - drawn in by the cover!!
