GREAT reviews Brenda!!! Really enjoyed reading them.
I'm trying Brenda! I just have had a time concentrating on anything; but I'm trying to put it all behind me....like a nightmare!! :)

Do you have to know much about Christianity to understand or appreciate this book? It sounds fascinating, but I was not raised Christian, so I don't have much background.

Oh, that is so sweet. Spoken (I should say, written) like a true mom. You are so lucky. You know, it's strange. I always felt like parents adored their kids because they were little and cute, and - well, everybody loves little kids. But I figured that when your kids got older you would love them . . . I don't know, less? different? You don't love a grown adult the same way you love a little kid, right?
But then every so often my mother (who is now 70) will say something that makes me think: Wow, she still loves me like I love my kids. I don't know why that seems so weird to me. But it's comforting - not just that she loves me, but that I will still feel the same strong love for my children well past the point that they are no longer children.
That's kind of how your blog makes me feel. : )
Brenda, it seems as if your reviews are tailor made for me. Except for "I am the messenger' all the other books are in my to-read ASAP pile. Thanks a lot.
Brenda, This one just got put on my TBR pile due to a friend who offered a loan of it to me. Her recommendation was positive, but not nearly as strong as yours. Now I am really looking forward to it and will have to move it up the stack.
