I have the DVD -- well worth the money.
I have to say thank you to everyone here for chatting up their favorite M/M series. I've scribbled them all down on my to-check-out list, and I'm going to be treating myself to a big ole Amazon order for my birthday -- a lot of your recs are going to be in it! :-)
I actually just started Hot Target by Suzanne Brockmann last night. It's supposed to be m/f romance with a lot of black ops missions and hot guys doing all kinds of cool stuff. BUT, it was recommended for me (It's #8 in the series) for it's m/m romance subplot. And, apparently, there's a little story arc with a few books in the series that is m/m. So, technically, I'm reading both at the moment. lol.
Though, as of yet, we haven't much gotten to the romance beyond the "OMG! She's hot!" parts, it's good. GREAT, in fact. And it's totally made me laugh out loud. I'm loving it so far and while I haven't read books #1-7, it doesn't seem to have mattered one bit, as was promised to me. yay!

Hot Target is a good book. It's too bad Suzanne Brockmann is not doing any more books with Jules and Robin.
I'm about 1/3 of the way through
and enjoying it very much. It made me laugh out loud a few times so far.
Just bought With Abandon by JL Langley... will get started right away :)Just finished re-reading Collision Course and No Souvenirs by KA Mitchell... great books.

Dying to read this one :D

Just finished With Abandon
byJ.L. Langley and this one is even better than the last 3 Really loved Aubrey and Matt :D
I started Changes, Mean Streets, AND The Dark Tide last night. The first b/c I need my Harry Dresden fix the second a book releases in paperback, the second b/c I wanted to check out the Thomas E. Sniegoski story, to see if I liked it enough to get the full-length books, and the third, b/c, well, it's Adrien and Jake, and though I've been trying to slowly savor this series, I couldn't hold back any more!

My favourite K.A. Mitchell is
The way she writes a character like Jae Sun is nothing short of amazing.

I just finished
, and I loved it!!I'd love to read more about Bill Turnner :)
(the only good thing about having a stomach flue is I get to read a lot, in between cramps. Can't sit up long enough to enjoy my laptop, though ... and no writing :( At least it doesn't stop me thinking about my characters.)

Feel Better Anita!
I liked No Souveneirs the best too. So I finished
and loved it!! I'm now reading the sequel
I also finished
. Thought it was good but not my favorite in the seriesI'm still trying to finish
it keeps putting me to sleep. I'm 27% in and nothing interesting has happened
HC just add that book to your Not finished shelf reading shouldn't be painful. I don't think C will finish With Abandon she dislikes
B, I've already bought the whole series. Its really not bad. I just keep getting confused because of the writing style I think. It isn't easy reading at allPoor C, she needs to finish
In the last few days I finished:- Faith & Fidelity, Evan was so frustrating...
- Falling and Under My Skin by ML Rhodes, I enjoyed them a lot, right amount of steaminess
- Love Means... No Shame, cute and sweet, maybe too much, but it gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling
I am reading Amuse Bouche, 20% in it, Russell Quant has a very nice voice.
Heather C wrote: I'm still trying to finish it keeps putting me to sleep. I'm 27% in and nothing interesting has happened"Stick with it, trust me. Did the child angel get taken yet? Pretty much from there it's all "holy crap!" mode.

It's not a problem, I like plain mysteries :)

Oooh, Andrew Grey. I just bought the next two books in that series. It's kind of "basic" but a good story none-the-less.
And of course Faith and Fidelity is amazing! One of these days I'm going to reread it again.
I'm still reading Hot Target by Suzanne Brockmann and I'm LOVING it, LOVING it, LOVING it. Like, you have no idea. I normally don't like het romance, but this one is just awesome. And the m/m romance is just... I'm almost to the end, and finally what I kept thinking about Robin is true, and he's realizing it, and it's one of those really great emotional rides. I think I almost shed a tear for a moment. Alas, I'm at work so I can't do that. *sigh* I highly recommend it.
After Hot Target, I'll be reading Paranormalcy, which is a YA novel, mostly for work, but also because it looks good. And another book, a collection of short stories about shifters, nothing m/m in either one, but I thought the shifter book might be good for my (maybe not happening after all) book about shifters. We'll see. And once the library books are returned, I'll get back to my ever growing m/m collection on my coffee table. Woot!

I adore Hot Target. (I have a signed copy!) I've loved Jules for ages, and this part of his story is fantastic. I like Cosmo, the hero of the het romance, in this one, too. He takes the "strong, silent type" thing to an extreme in the earlier books, and it's great to get a chance to see what a sweetheart he is.
Last night I finished Shadowfever. At just over 500 pages, it could have used some pruning. I found myself skimming quite a bit, especially in the first half of the book. But it did a pretty good job of wrapping up the loose ends that were important to me as a reader.
And now I'm reading Touch Me Gently. It's not terrible, but I'm not loving it, either. I'm just not connecting with these characters, and it doesn't feel very realistic.

Hopefully. It wasn't there for gratutious purposes, and it's certainly not something I find a turn on. I'm strictly one partner at a time.

A surprising number of readers couldn't forgive that scene, but...that's sort of what the story was about. Not the sex scene, but the struggle for intimacy and commitment. Well, and I was having fun with the tropes of Southern Gothic. ;-D

I don't drink either so it stands out in my head everytime a characters is drinking. I don't understand the appeal
Josh wrote: "I just noticed I had 72 Hours in my book file last night. It sounds like exactly my kind of thing. The story is very good and I loved the trailer park where the story takes place.

Lil' Grogan wrote: "Actually he has two relationships through the course of the series. The romances aren't the focus of the stories, but I thought Aloha Candy Hearts was the most romantic of the lot."I finished Amuse Bouche and I liked it very much. It's light, the writing is good and it kept me awake until 1 am to finish it. Russell Quant is fascinating and the people around him are very funny.

Yeah, it started out unrealistic and it just got worse. It also turned preachy at the end.
Edina wrote: "I heard that their story started in a previous book but I did not know there was enough MM material in the book to make me like it (I'm on a MM Romance only diet these days)."Jules and Robin's relationship is secondary in Hot Target, but it's a strong secondary. Jules had his heart broken big time in the past, and that lover comes back into the picture, which messes with his head. Robin is an alcoholic who's been hiding from his sexuality for years. So it's a meaty story, even if it doesn't quite get equal page time with Cosmo and Jane's story. I definitely think it's worth reading, even if it might technically be cheating on your "diet"!
Heather C wrote: "I don't drink either so it stands out in my head everytime a characters is drinking. I don't understand the appeal"
I'm with you, but I can certianly understand a character who knockls over an old lady to get to some freshly fried bacon. Not to mention waffles.

Today on my to read list is
Like Coffee and Doughnuts
. I'm actually about page 50 or so, and am loving this story. Not sure I'd call it a romance (though there might be come later in the book)... unless of course, the interactions of the two friends has been one long weird-ass romance?
Edina, the relationship between Jules and Robin is supplemental, but it's definitely worth reading the first book. I think their relationship follows the course of three books? I've got them all here somewhere. I enjoyed them a lot.

I'll probably re-read it sooner or later, because re-united lovers is my comfort read and I'll re-read it keeping this in mind.
I'm reading
. It's set in the 50s and the characters are in high school and I'm worried sick about them. I had to stop reading it for a while. I'm waiting for a big drama to happen and I am afraid of going on. And it's not been angsty yet.
