Maybe that is one of the things that will change and become more common. Just as it's easier to buy books, so it becomes easier to return. At least through Amazon.

I don't return books unless it's a book I already own or it was something I purchased by mistake, so that's not a mindset I can really relate to.

I'm really thinking in terms of the concept of ownership here. That I think does break down pretty cleanly. But I agree about the other issues with digital. The complication of viral sharing -- but is the response not to support libraries?! All these things are still being worked out, and the fact that they aren't easily worked out is telling.

Yeah, I need to get back to juicing my veg. I feel so much better when I do. I get sooo harassed for drinking my bright green, purple, orange... drinks. But the difference in how I feel and the end of a long high energy day, is worth it. I tell people-I'm a vintage model and need high octane fuel. ;p

I've returned two books in my life, both were gifts. One I already owned, the other was targeted for a younger audience so I didn't even open it. I don't think I've even wanted to return a book before I started reading a lot of m/m published fiction, but man, have I downloaded some doozies!

That's probably going to be an increasing factor. With so much disposable fiction out there, it's bound result in less respect for the work. Even the good work, probably.

Sure, I love to put pomegranate seeds in the salads. But getting them out of the fruit is messy! My kitchen's white tiles usually look like someone was butchered there after I've got the seeds out of couple of pomegranates. Luckily some stores sell only the seeds... ;)

You should absolutely read it, and you might see Scotland in a slighly different light afterwards. I didn't know there was so much magic there ;)But truth be told, when I have visited my daughter in Edinburgh and walked on the castle grounds and in the closes (narrow medieval streets) and graveyards - we love graveyards by the way - it feels like there is magic in the air, or as she once said, is it any wonder I love it here, it is like living inside a book :)

By the way, I usually make my breakfast juices form berries: strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and sea-buckthorn (the latter has a HUGE amount of vitamin C in it).

We have three sea-buckthorn bushes in our garden (one boy and two girls). Only the girls grow the berries, obviously. :) Collecting the berries is literally painful, because the bushes have quite long thorns in them. You only need to eat five sea-buckthorn berries to fill your daily intake of vitamin C.

Here is the Wikipedia link:

Favourite read of this evening is Poems by Lynette Roberts but possibly because I am reading the 1944 edition. Adrien English would have approved don't you think. I'm rationing myself to one Adrien mystery a week... it was supposed to be one per month but...
