I was really surprised when it got moved up a couple of years ago. Haven't we messed with it enough? But then we don't have DST in Arizona, however, it still has tripped us up now & then. Like the first year when our pre-programmed clock though it was smart and changed the time, lol, it was not smart enough to know we moved to AZ!

Personally, I think the whole idea of daylight savings time is a silly nuisance, and a pointless meddling by people in a naturally-given order of things; why not go by the time it actually IS, instead of pretending it's a different time? My mother never had any use for the idea either; she always said it was a way of making poor people have to get up for work in the chill and the dark so rich people could get an hour on the golf course later. In the intervening years, I haven't seen anything that convinces me that she didn't hit the nail on the head there. :-)
My only like of DST is the kids get more light for trick or treating, though that is phasing out thanks to freaks who like to hurt people. I'm so sick of a few people making life rough on the rest of us - the speed bump theory.
