message 105: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments So wait, do you have to start writing a completely new novel for NaNo?

PyroLily ~Qui scribit bis legit~ (pyrolily) | 290 comments Alice said you can't start writting until november

message 107: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments I know, but-- wait, so you have to come up with a new novel???

message 108: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Yeah, it's a completely new novel. But there is NaNoFiMo (National Novel Finishing Month) in December.

message 109: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments NNNOOO!!!

message 110: by [deleted user] (new)

I'll probably have to do the December one. November is during sections for tennis, the beginning of debate tournaments, and when the mock trial season starts :P

message 111: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
Yeah, the December one is easier because it's only 30,000 words, as you can use something you've already started. But November is great for a clean slate.

message 112: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments Okay, good, I may try December.

PyroLily ~Qui scribit bis legit~ (pyrolily) | 290 comments I'll try both!

message 114: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
I'm doing both. :)

message 116: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments I think I actually have a good novel going right now!!! YAYZ!!! (I posted it on Goodreads if you want to see it.)

PyroLily ~Qui scribit bis legit~ (pyrolily) | 290 comments I have three. One is on goodreads and it is not updated.

I need to get a bunch of writing done. I just got a ton of new ideas for my story, all involving real life experiences.

PyroLily ~Qui scribit bis legit~ (pyrolily) | 290 comments I'm dieing to write but my mom wont give me a break. 'you need to clean your room no library until you do' ok but will you do my dishes so i can 'yes'...'you need to do dishes' after i asked you to do them so i could work on my room. 'you need to get out of the house more' you told me to clean my room & there's nothing to do out there with all the eight-year-olds. 'well go for a walk or walk up to the library.' She a living contradiction! In less than 3 min she said she wouldn't get my holds at the library til i finish cleaning my room & that i couldn't go to the library to tomarrow i'm not allowed to be in my room for more than how long it takes me get dress or to grab something & i have to do dishes & when those are done i have to stay out of my room. Watch a movie downstairs, take a walk, or go to the library.' I'm lucky to get a short amaunt of time at the end of the day to write a few SHORT sentances or paragraphs!

Drowning out my idea? Umm I just sort of forget them when I don't write them down or something. Ahaha so many things are always going through my head, so I always have to jot things down on sticky notes or whatever.

message 128: by Kim (new)

Kim Crowley (kimcrow) | 1893 comments I always have to do a word document explaining about the story and maybe do a quick prologue so that i remember how i want to start it. My laptop has like 2o of these, most of them i will never even bother writing because theyre so rubbish now.

and on the nano topic from the last page:
I cant WAIT till this years NaNo
winning last year really boosted my confidence and that was WITHOUT planning at all
And it basically made me famous at school 0.0
((writing teenagers seens to be more rare in my area than it is in america i guess... the want frickin copies for the school library))

i just really really really want an awesome idea thats like 20 times better than last years

PyroLily ~Qui scribit bis legit~ (pyrolily) | 290 comments Where do you live?

message 130: by Kim (new)

Kim Crowley (kimcrow) | 1893 comments Dereham, Norfolk, England

((doesnt everyone know this by now??))

PyroLily ~Qui scribit bis legit~ (pyrolily) | 290 comments If my best friend hadn't tell me she'd cut her hair I wouldn't have noticed until 8th class or the next day. I thought you where UK when you said 'in america' but not when you said 'rubish' because the way you put things doesn't tell where you're from. Like how I always put 'mum' insted of 'mom' because even though I don't say it it's convenent spelling when I'm on goodreads on my phone.

Not everyone says 'garbage' but, most Americans say it."

Yeah, I think my Nana might be the exception. She also says potato like pe-da-ta.
