In The Light of the Eclipse
Where God so loved the world, Heather (or as few have dared to dub her “the goddess of condemnation”) holds a much crueler hand over her inhabitants. Every seventeen years, under her ever-watchful eye, an eclipse renders her land dark, taking the soul of everyone over the age of seventeen to the land of the unknown nothing. In its wake, Heather bestows the gift of a child upon the land. Some believe this child has special powers; others believe she inhabits the souls taken by the eclipse. But no matter the belief, one thing is certain—without the child, the land would crumble.
Most accept the eclipse and live every breath with a love unmatched by any other. This is especially true of Zoe, whose seventeenth year of breath nears ever so close. Born under the eclipse, Zoe understands her life is a gift and that she will return that gift in kind—whenever that day may be (that is until she falls in love and discovers the dark secrets hidden in the heart of Heather).
Still others yearn for a longer life and curse Heather’s name. One such person was branded the name Kayla on her day of breath eighteen years ago. Unable to comprehend the meaning of such viciousness, Kayla believes such a sacrifice is unnecessary, even for the worst of mankind. Little does she know that a mysterious traveler may hold the key to ending the eclipse forever.
Zoe and Kayla are best friends.
This is their story.

Wish you all the best.

Frontiers picks up with Hank Reynolds, the son of Nick Reynolds-he protagonist from Cybersp@ce. Hank is an intellectual genius, and a test pilot for the Air Force. His life changes forever when he's selected to pilot the first test flight of humanity's first interstellar spacecraft. Below is a link to the trailer, followed by the back matter/blurb for Frontiers.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55PQhr...
It is the middle of the 21st Century, and scientists have finally been able to reverse-engineer the highly advanced technology recovered from a crashed, alien ship, and they have successfully constructed Earth's first interstellar spacecraft. They have also learned how to harvest the dark energy that powered the alien ship, and use it to address the world's growing global energy shortage. The Earth Space Alliance is formed to develop and manage the sophisticated technology and the ship, code-named Frontier, a spacecraft that will carry human beings to the stars, and beyond.
Only after Frontier is sabotaged, leaving Hank Reynolds stranded and alone to die in the Alpha Centauri system, do they discover who is behind a plot to steal the alien technology, and to murder those closest to it.

Such a story is timeless -- literally! It was the heart of my first novel set in Ancient Sparta, "The Olympic Charioteer." Set during the wars between Sparta and Tegea in the 6th century BC, "The Olympic Charioteer" also describes a father's grief that is so great he is unwilling to accept his son is dead. The father then set out to find his son in Tegea -- despite a continued state of war between the two cities.
The Olympic Charioteer

All the best with "We Regret To Inform You"!
Oh, and if you're interested in aviation in WWII, I've written one novel set in the Battle of Britain:
Where Eagles Never Flew

and one about a B-17 pilot and a woman ATA pilot.

Heraclix was dead and Pomp was immortal. That was before Heraclix’s reanimation (along with the sewn-together pieces and parts of many other dead people) and Pomp’s near murder at the hands of an evil necromancer. As they travel from Vienna to Prague to Istanbul and back again (with a side-trip to Hell), they struggle to understand who and what they are: Heraclix seeks to know the life he had before his death and rebirth, and Pomp wrestles with the language and meaning of mortality. As they journey across a land rife with revolution and unrest, they discover the evil necromancer they thought dead might not be so dead after all. In fact, he might be making a pact to ensure his own immortality . . ."

Although tall, thin, blond and gorgeous, Breken Annersen suffers from body dysmorphic disorder. She’s got a ‘glamor job’ at an international gossip magazine, but dreams of a Pulitzer.
All Brek WANTS on her Paris assignment is some dirt on a few starlets at a chic film soiree with handsome, irreverent freelancer, Hutch Branigan. But when a terrorist bomb rips the star-studded event apart, she GETS a new job description, chasing terrorists. Brek and Hutch, this tossed-together pair, witnesses the murder of a starlet who'd been at the Paris bombing, and hours later see the U.S. ambassador's daughter immolated on a dark fortress wall at the Cannes Film Festival. And now, there’s a hit man on their trail.
The 'glamor job' turns into a whodunit for Brek and Hutch. Their hunt leads them through a maze of diplomats, suave singers, movie stars and prostitutes, the FBI and the Mafia. From the French Rivera to the Swiss mountains they find MURDER, CORRUPTION and espionage born in Kabul, that spreads across Europe and the U.S. And amid the peril and violence, Brek and Hutch find a smoldering ATTRACTION for each other. Which could lead to romance, or heartbreak, or worse.

Temecula, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/16/2013 -- Michael Meyer’s new book, Covert Dreams, is a fast-paced international suspense thriller that has been compared to Ludlum’s Bourne series with a Dean Koontz rapid action writing style. The book reached number two in the Goodreads recommended list in the Thriller/suspense genre.
The book is ideal for any fan of action, adventure and espionage, and is available through Amazon on both Kindle download and in paperback http://smarturl.it/CovertDreams and from Barnes & Noble.
The story revolves around an amnesiac in reverse. Turning popular convention on its head, our hero wakes recalling intimate details of a country in which he doesn’t reside and fluency in a language he has never spoken. Despite living the ideal life with the ideal wife in the real world, he is drawn to find out what is going on. Which version is real? And who is responsible for this?
Covert Dreams is part one of an international suspense collection, with the follow up, Deadly Eyes also available for fans who want another fix soon.
Meyer is a well travelled man who has resided in many places around the world, including Finland, Germany, Thailand and Saudi Arabia – each of which seems to have left their mark on the author.
Mr. Meyer is very pleased at the moment.. “COVERT DREAMS has recently received a Compulsion Reads endorsement. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Compulsion Reads, this company specializes in reviewing and endorsing those novels that meet its quality standards based on the fundamental qualities of good storytelling. Many books that the company reviews don't earn their endorsement, so this is a pretty big deal.”
Curious espionage fans can check out the book trailer on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9drU4...

"... plotting, complex characters, funny, crackling... Sean Cronin, in his first two books, shows his triple threat in highly readable, often hilarious novels that get going fast and develop along the characters' own foibles. It's a rare talent and a delicious one." J. Mariani Esquire Magazine
