A major character in my newest Time Traveling Epic Fable is the Elizabethan author Christopher Marlowe & may people hold that he was in fact Shakespeare.
But I agree with those who think he was really Edward de Vere, the 17th Earl of Oxford.
The Bard is not a character in the book, but they do discuss him some.

Interesting storyline, plus time travel - always interesting.

The heros in my books are always strong-willed redheaded women.
Write what you know.

I wrote these erotic stories intending to fire the imaginations, and the loins of readers, and inspire them to turn their love lives into something wonderful, lusty and fun!
In the first short story, an invitation turns naughty in 'Hide and Seek'! The second story, 'Dirty Dancer', shows how fulfilling the art of pole dancing can be. And, in 'Tight Squeeze', the final short story, a shopping trip turns out to be an adventure!

Please read and rate them for me. Thank you!

Book two, River Town, debuted December 2012. It continues the powerful faith and family saga. Susan relocates to Texas during the worse drought in history with terrifing wildfires, a new job at a high school, and much to challenge her faith. From an arrogant boss to troubled teenagers, the reader will have a clear understanding of a Christian viewpoint by her actions. A compelling page turner for both men and women!
And now...for the rest of the story! I lived in the area with the raging wildfires. You may have seen them on national tv last yesr. They came within 2 miles of my rural home. I had to evacuate. Although my books are fiction, the drought and wildfires actually happened. I researched every fire that developed and inserted it on the date it happened. Many sprang up in a short time period. The descriptions from my characters about the fire were given to me by friends who experienced it, and what I witnessed. I included a refugee shelter and so much more.
My main character, Susan, survived an ordeal in the first book and in this one her faith is even stronger. I am currently writing the third book in the series.
World Wide Who's Who awarded me Professional of the Year 2012 in Authorship. I was not expecting that! :)
I do have a passion for writing, as I am sure many of you also have!

I have two novels out. The K Street Affair is brand new this month and it's a political suspense novel set in DC and Moscow. It follows one young lawyer as she risks everything to try to stop her law firm's politically connected clients from underwriting terror.
My first novel The Hazards of Hunting While Heartbroken is mainstream women's fiction. It follows a young woman who sets out to find a man to solve her problems and ends up figuring out who she is in the process. When we meet Zoe, she's embarking on a new relationship with a guy who seems perfect, until she starts to suspect that he harbors a dark secret.
I'd love to hear from anyone who reads my books.

I have one novel out (since August) and a second one on the horizon in June. I'm writing a paranormal trilogy in the style of Erica Jong. The novels feature strong women (sirens) who get tangled in their own webs as they attempt to defeat an ancestral curse. Here's book one, which has eight reviews on Goodreads and Amazon.

Anne Greene doesn’t know what Peter Van Doorne’s life was like back in Savannah. What she does know is only what he’s told her—that he’s the youngest of five children born to a Southern preacher of Dutch origin, and that coercion pushed him from his charmed life in the South.
However, as much as Anne is attracted to him, she sees red flags….What is Peter not telling her?
While Peter struggles to grasp a future he can’t quite keep a hold of, and tries desperately to outrun a past he can’t change, Anne discovers his secret— and the truth that everyone, at some point in his or her life is Worthy of Thorns.

He is popularly seen as a villain in Christmas culture but he moved in fairly exalted circles. Mark Antony and Octavian (later the Emperor Augustus) took him to the Senate House and two other senators sponsored him to be made King of Judea. All he had to do to take his kingdom was sail back to Judea in winter, that was the easy bit. Then he had to take Jerusalem from his rival and kick out the Parthians from Judea which they had just conquered.
His brother was holed up in the fortress of Masada with the womenfolk of their families.
Meanwhile the poor citizens and peasants of Judea and Idumea, languished under invading armies and civil wars.
Read how he not only survived but helped the legions to drive our the Parthian invaders then to make his kingdom the richest province of the whole Roman empire.
Read also how he charmed even the bigotted Pharisees and got the grudging suport of the priests. Then won the friendship of the Emperor and of his right hand man, Marcus Agrippa, possibly one of the greatest and best of the Romans who ever lived.
This friendship he retained for just about all of his reign until he killed his beloved Mariamne, suffered under internecine strife in the harem and the gross ingratitude of his sons. He finaly ruined his reputation with Christendom when he had a few babies and toddlers in Bethlehem done to death. But he tried to out-fox the Magians even though his body was rotting away even while he maintained his position enduring great suffering, physical, mental and emotional.

Can´t wait to see it!

If you're interested in angst, love, friendship, psychological abuse, and healing, this is the thriller for you.
Not recommended for prudes :)

You can also call it up on Goodreads. Thanks.

As the currently newest member of the group, I thought I would invite members to enter the world of The Darke Lyfe Trilogy. Three horror/crime investigation/science fiction thrillers that include: Ascent of Evil; Inherited Evil; and the final tome, Arcanum of Evil. These contemporary thrillers adopt a new paradigm of the vampire mythology when anthropologist, Dr. Steven Atticus, discovers the 1000-year-old corpse of the first vampire. Things get complicated when the antagonist, rogue vampyre Harrison Van Gilter enters the scene on October 31, 1997 in Panama City, Florida. The result is a law enforcement manhunt for a predatory, transgenic, psycho serial killer. A summary for potential readers is provided at my blog: http://michaelgoldcraft.wordpress.com/
The first two novels both won first place awards in the horror/dark fantasy category at the Florida Writers Association's Royal Palm Literary Awards. All of my novels are available at all ebook vendors. Just search: Michael Goldcraft or visit our website at www.brimbooks.com
So this is my invitation to you to explore the world of genuine transgenic predators (real vampires) and follow the mystery to unravel the reality within our contemporary population. They ARE here among us!
Best wishes, Michael Goldcraft

It is their book of the day. Thank you.
