My debut novel, Outage, is now for sale on Smashwords.com (https://www.smashwords.com/books/view...). As Virginia said, they seem much pickier about how they want things. That's not necessarily bad, though. For serious readers, presentation is important. I spent a couple days formatting and getting it just so. I found it a rewarding experience. It also helped me do some more fine-tuning (is an author's work EVER done?) I'm hoping to make it into their premium catalogue... the jury's still out on that one. Anyway, it's the same price as the Amazon.com version ($0.99), so it's all the same to me either way. But I haven't sold a Smashwords copy yet and I'd like to get rid of the big ol' goose egg.

I have written The Reboot Files, a series of Christian Mysteries. They are ebooks which are posted on amazon and barnes and noble. I have included links.
The stories involve the adventures of Irene Waters, a once promising Christian reporter, and her cameraman the brilliant but reckless Troy Stenson. Through a series of separate misfortunes they find themselves working on a cheesy paranormal investigation show called Irene’s Eerie Adventures. Worse, they work for Reboot, a television station better known for hiring the rejects of the legitimate media than the quality of their programing. The first book is called the Mystery of Hurtleberry House involving a supposed haunted house.

The third book is titled The Harbinger of Retribution. This time the Reboot crew find themselves in the small town of Redemption to do a story on an impressively sinister looking statue which is supposed to have a curse. The only problem is no one can agree on what the curse is supposed to do.

I know I mentioned earlier that a new book came out, but I had two out this year (two different series) and I can't remember which one I mentioned.

So, Old Murders Never Die came out in July, and it's about a female P.I. and her partner being stranded in a ghost town haunted by old murders. By the way, I created my own book cover on this one.

The other one, Bogey Nights, came out in March. It's about an amateur P.I. who bears a striking resemblance to Humphrey Bogart. This is the first book in a new series.

They're both a lot of fun and I hope you have time to check them out.

The old saying “You don’t know what you have till it is gone” sure fits the Novel Outage.Mr Gallants way with words makes you think as you are reading. Even tho’ I only read the first chapter, I found myself reading slowly so nothing would be missed. I felt a need to absorb the material as I see it being important later in the novel. Sorry if I jumped the gun on giving a review after one chapter but the urge to give a review took ahold of me. I will keep you up dated as I go.
Hell for 99 cents, I got that much out of the prolog. Mr Gallant has a unique style of writting and at times his wording was close to poetry.

Not a bad read, but it could have been better. On the plus side: the story is interesting and hase a few nice developments. On the down side: the book could have benefitted from an editor, as it’s too long winded in some places, and a bit too short in others. The writing itself isn’t really great either, with lots of descriptive writing and little dialogue (or written down thoughs), but the story intrigued me enough to finish reading it. Given the price, I don’t regret buying and reading it, but there’s room for improvement on the writers’side. I hope he does improve though, as I am kind of interested in a part II

I was surprised by this book. The cover had me fooled into thinking it would be a calm outing.
It was anything, but! I was on the edge of my seat most of the time.
It made me want to stock up on batteries and candles…. again! Remember Y2K?
Every time I put it down, I couldn’t wait to pick up where I had left off.
This is a lot of entertainment for only .99 cents! Try it, you won’t be disappointed!
