Tips for authors? Build your platform. No one knows you, no one cares what you're selling. The worst is an author pushing the same book for 6 months over and over - write another one!Get on Google+, Facebook and Twitter. Get a website and get that blog going. Get at least 5 blogs about self-publishing that make sense to you.
Oh, and if you want more info on social media, check out this group for Twitter and Authors:

This is more generic advice for authors: check to see if your work is being pirated. If you need help reporting it to Google, check out this article: https://dianapersaud1.wordpress.com/2...
Editing is very important for all authors (indie as well as traditional) So, any authors looking for affordable editing services? The head editor of the major site "TheGeekiary" is willing to edit a 100,000 words for just $200...She will correct grammar, punctuation and even give feedback...$200 for 100,000 words isn't a bad bargain, right? It can also be multiple works as long as it's a total of 100,000 words...authors looking for editing work less than 100k can also take up the offer and get it done by less than $200...PM me or send me an email at tempest071990 at gmail.com and let's get started ^^
I'd definitely recommend that every author get a professional edit on their work before they start sending it to publishers or agents. The importance of a professional edit cannot be overrated. There are plenty of deals if you look around and you should be able to find one within your price range.
My advice is to do what works for you. Whatever that may be with your writing. Because in the end you have to be the one comfortable with it.
Is it common to run an Amazon Kindle Countdown during a Goodreads Promotion? I would like to hear what authors have done during the Giveway to improve sales. Thank you.
Grab this books for your childrens they'll surely love themBaby animals are cuddly and adorable. This pictures book consists of beautiful color photographs of 10 different baby animals. Each one starts with the question of what the baby of an animal is called, to engage toddlers so they can learn a little about animals. And hopefully fall helplessly in love with them.http://www.amazon.com/Baby-Animals-Ad...
Everyone loves animals. So do we. That's why we want to share this love with kids. "The Small Mice of Homesville" is a read aloud story for young children, or an easy-reader for beginning readers.

In this picture book, beautiful color photographs of animals from all over the world are combined with the alphabet. One animal for each letter of the alphabet. Toddlers learn the alphabet in a fun way when they recognize the animals. And hopefully fall helplessly in love with them.http://www.amazon.com/Animal-Kingdom-...
I use one of the author page slots, ' from the author' on each book to tell readers the story behind the book. it adds a human side to your book and helps potential readers to know what your thoughts were when writing the story.

I have a niche. I enjoy writing about love and romance. However, I need advice on how to get the books into readers hands. What will peak their interest?
