jane Sounds as though you're doing lots of reading!

Suzanne This one's a kid's book, so it's a quick read. Wanted to see what it's like before recommending it to my granddaughter.

jane Try "Tarquin Hall-The Case of the Missing Servant"-meet Vish Puri-India's most Private Investigator-"joins the No. ! Ladies Detective Agency as representing the best in international cozies."

MizziQ LOVE this book! It took me awhile cuz it started out slow but it was really cute! :)

Khloe The Magicians Elephant is easy to read and awesome at the same time.

Mara I loved this story. It's simple, dream-like, and to use a very cliche term: magical.

Hannah This book sucked. I'm sorry but I did not get the story at all. I got really bored reading it and it seems kind of deppresing. Also at the end when the elephant found his sister it seemed so random because he only mentions the elephant in his dreams. When the elephant suddenly came to life all I could think of was "what the heck." The author has a good idea but but it could have been better written and more exciting.

Rachel I didn't understand what the author wanted me to get out of this book? I felt indifferent and none the wiser. If it was allegorical, it had no meaning for me. Does this make me callous or ignorant?

Couldn't agree more!

the story did not capture me at all. I know it's a kids book but i think it needed to make at least some sense!
