Sarah (songgirl7) How far back are the HPs, Ames?

message 102: by [deleted user] (new)

What do you mean? On the list? 7 1/2 pages and I just added them today. But, I don't buy in order...not THAT OCD! :)

message 103: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) Okay. Read them soon. Promise me.

message 104: by [deleted user] (new)

Cross my heart, Princess. As soon as I finish Eclipse I'll be waiting for 3 new releases anyway, after Eclipse I'll read them, no detours...K?

message 105: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) Yippee!!

message 106: by Charissa (new)

Charissa (dakinigrl) I have hundreds of swans. Most of them are ceramic. But when I moved this time I just couldn't do it. I just couldn't unpack the swans and swannify my house again. It's horrifying. My mother keeps giving them to me. She has even given me swan doilies. So I just wrapped them up and put them back in a box. I'm going to sell them at a garage sale or something. But I'm totally even embarrassed to put them out at the garage sale. Who the fuck collects swans for godssake??? Freaks, that's who.

What I still have are rocks and shells and things like a dove's wing that I found in my driveway, with the meat parts having been eaten away by ants. And rusty metal things. And sticks. And creepy dolls. And ceramics. I'm a total whore for ceramics.

and maps. and books with references to my name in them. and books with funny things like Betty White teaches you the dances of the 50s, with drawings for the steps (who the fuck can learn dances that way?).

Okay, I kind of collect a lot of random shit.

I have a sharks tooth I found on the beach a few years ago...but that's too cool for this group.

Too close to a chicken, Sarah? *giggles*

message 110: by Charissa (new)

Charissa (dakinigrl) LOL... sorry Sarah. at least I don't have a framed color photograph in my kitchen anymore which was of my friend Sandy holding up a newspaper in her hand with a pile of severed rooster heads on it from when we did a chicken massacre at our farm. : )

Charissa, remember Jonathan? Well, so one summer he was up at his Gran's in Michigan and he needed a summer job. Apparently there was some gross thing wrong with all of the chickens in the area, so they had to go kill them all. The would grab 8 at a time (one set of feet between each finger) and throw them in the is truck and gas them. That wasn't even the gross part. He said you had to tarp the truck when you drove away, so the chickens wouldn't fly out. He had to walk across the chickens to tie down the tarp and every time took a step they would make wheezing, cackling noises as the air went out of them. Ewwww!

message 124: by Charissa (new)

Charissa (dakinigrl) I wish Russell Crowe and Colin Firth would tour. They could just stand on stage and read the phone book so we could drool over them in public.

message 125: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) He's not even touring in March, Charissa. I'm going to NYC to see him. On Broadway. Again.

message 126: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) And now this thread has become MY worst nightmare.

Peace out, all! I absolutely must do some work today. I mean, they ARE paying me, after all...

~Kisses

message 127: by [deleted user] (new)

I hear you, Amanda! I can't get any work done. I suppose I better excuse myself. Stupid work.

message 128: by [deleted user] (new)

224 is a little too "clean cut HCJ" for me, I like the little big of scruff.

Jackie "the Librarian" Work? Oh, work! Oops, yeah, I'd better get productive, too....

message 130: by [deleted user] (new)

I hear ya. They told me I could leave at 3 rather than 3:30, if I was done. I guess I better move my ass if I want to get home early. Which I need to cause 80+ year old granny is watching the baby from 2pm til I get there! Damn, I forgot to tell sis to make sure she doesn't do any laundry while she's there! She always ruins my clothes!!

message 131: by Dave (new)

Dave Russell What are those things for, Sarah?

message 132: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) Incense burners?
Buttons?
Play-Doh Spaghetti Factory attachments?

message 133: by Charissa (new)

Charissa (dakinigrl) flower arranging. My older sister collects those too! She has like 100 of them. She is a floral designer and my mom is an antiques dealer, so... ya know... it was inevitable.

message 134: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) Oh shit.
I don't dare ask. Nope. Nope, nope, nope.

message 135: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony Ah, the interesting line between "nerdy" and "terrifying"...

message 136: by [deleted user] (new)

Ummm...only "yuck" comes to mind.

message 137: by [deleted user] (new)

First chipmunks, then body parts--it's a slippery slope.

message 138: by Charissa (new)

Charissa (dakinigrl) lined with dead animals. who are terribly slippery. especially when they have been frozen.

thanks for sharing, John Wayne Gacy, Jr!

message 139: by [deleted user] (new)

Ummmm, yuck.

message 140: by [deleted user] (new)

Sarah...that is beyond yuck. I just read your review. You have more goth girl in your soul than I do.

message 141: by Charissa (new)

Charissa (dakinigrl) I think I should mess with my daughter by putting in my will that I want her to taxidermy me when I am dead and put me in a rocking chair in her window. Ha ha ha ha ha....

message 142: by [deleted user] (new)

Sarah, I love your gothness. Or would that be gothnicity?

message 143: by [deleted user] (new)

Hmmm, I like "gothnicity" myself.

message 144: by [deleted user] (new)

Amelia, I love how your comment is "Ummmm, yuck," and yet your photo says "Ummmm, yum" to me.

A little bit Goth is still good.

message 145: by [deleted user] (new)

I'll always have that little goth girl in my soul. (yes, you bastards...I have a soul!)

message 146: by [deleted user] (new)

I do hate the sun and nearly always wear black...is that enough?

message 147: by [deleted user] (new)

Did anyone see that guy who tried out for American Idol last season that peeled his fingernails and kept them in a plastic baggie?

(Yes, I watch American Idol, every season...and I know it's uncool. I tell myself it's okay because I only vote when they give money to charity, "Idol Gives Back" week.)

message 148: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) YES!!! That made me want to vomit!!!

message 149: by [deleted user] (new)
