Raven shifted into a raven and started looking for food in the woods. She looked up as she heard Tony's footsteps.
Anastatia walked through the city. A news flash appeared on the T.V.'s of the store she passed. A man with an obvious hair piece came on. "Storm has struck again!" He had a look of pure terror on his face. "Destroying the west side of town we advise you not to venture into that area. We have some video footage of the destruction."
Anastatia smiled and whiped back her long hair. She watched as an oddly familiar girl killed many things.
"They totally got my bad side." She mumbled.
Karoline was watering her grandmother's garden when the hose went totally beserk. It whiplashed her and continued to roll around on the floor spray water everywhere. It sprayed water on a passing girl ((Anastasia)) and Karoline gasped. She focused and shouted "STOP!!" at the hose. The hose fell limp and the water turned off. Karoline rushed to the girl. "I'm so so sorry!" she said. "You need a towel?" she asked.
Anastatia looked at her dress. "What the hell kid?!" She walked over. "What do you think you're doing!?"Storm clouds were gathering around everything.
Breathe. 'Statia, breathe.
Karoline narrowed her eyes a bit. "I think I'm getting you a towel." she said. She thrust a white towel into Anastasia's hands.
Johnny didn't know whether it was safe to stop her or not. He figured he was far enough away that they couldn't get him. But he'd thought that before. He kept pushing himself, urging himself to go faster than ever before. But he was straining his muscles. If he went on like this much longer, he would reach terminal velocity. He couldn't do that. Not unless he actually wanted to explode.
He didn't.
Instead, he skidded to a stop in an ally way. No one could have seen him coming. If anything, they would have merely seen a blur. He was running so fast. He quickly pulled in gasps of air, trying to slow his racing heart. His hands started shaking. He always needed to be moving something. He sighed and stepped out into what he thought would be a busy street. He was wrong. It was nearly deserted.

Anastasia took the towel. "Thanks." She wiped off and then hung it on the fence. "Sorry, about the blow up. I just have anger issues..." She breathed deeply and then walked off. Anastasia wasn't sure where she was going but she needed to go away. Happy with her dark deeds finished, she did feel something empty inside her. Like some big part of her life was missing. Anastasia hated the feeling that something was a gap, she needed to fix it or it would tear her apart.
'Just blend in Johnny, just blend in.' he whispered to himself over and over again. He needed to hide, and it was easier if he could fit in. Would a teenage guy normally be walking around, looking over his shoulder every twenty seconds? No. So he couldn't follow his instincts and do that. He needed to keep looking forward, and hope for the best.
Walking around Anastasia noticed a boy walking all by himself, he looked highly suspiscious. He kept turning around and looking for something, someone who was following. She kept herself hidden as she followed this interesting boy.
Johnny could just feel the eyes. He knew they were here. But no matter how many times he gave in and looked over his shoulder, no one was there.
"You're just paranoid, Johnny," he told himself with a humourless laugh.

Anastasia brought the clouds over the sun, cutting off the light letting her keep a better cover. After this was done she followed behind Johnny casually.
Johnny's nerves were shot. He had to find a friendly face. If he could act as though he had a friend, maybe the eyes would leave him alone. He had to constantly hold himself back. He wanted to run--really run--away. But if he did that, than any chance that his cover would work would be blown. It was better to wait.
Anastasia noticed the tense stance that the boy was desprately trying to hide. She feared that maybe he wasn't up to the challenge. He must be good. She thought with a shudder. Maybe I should leave now. Save myself the heartbreak.
Anastasia sighed. She always fell for the good guy with a cute smile.
Johnny struggled to keep his hands still. They shook with a speed no human could hold. They were almost a blur at his sides.
He turned suddenly. He wasn't sure, but he thought he saw the faint traces of a girl, before she disappeared.

Anastasia slowly came out from her hiding spot. "No more games." She whispered. Now she walked behind him, just heading to her house.
He could hear her now. She wasn't being as careful. Quickly--as fast as only he could--he turned around on her again.
"Hi," he said surprised by her closeness. How had she managed to get this close? She was only four metres away...
"Hi," he said surprised by her closeness. How had she managed to get this close? She was only four metres away...
"Hi." Anastasia's breath was taken away. He was fast, faster than any human could go. Definately has powers, but is he good? The question nagged at her mind.
"So," Johnny said. "Do you live around here? I'm just visiting myself, but I'm hoping to stay a while." A long while he added silently. He cursed in his head. Normal people didn't talk super fast. He was supposed to monitor himself.
It took Anastasia a moment to process everything he had just said. "Yes, I live around here." She pointed to a large house just up the hill.
"Wow, that's big. And kinda scary. But not in a bad way." When he talked fast, words just came out. He didn't mean to say most of it, it just happens. "I used to live in a big building, but it was more like a lab. My uncle ran it you see. But I didn't like it, so I ran off...You don't work for him do you? Do you work for Kerr?"
"Kerr? Never heard of him." Anastasia cocked her head slightly. "The inside of my house is much nicer, we've been renovating and haven't yet gotten to the outside."
"Oh, sorry if I insulted you or your home. I just talk sometimes. I can't edit though cause it comes out too fast. But sometimes," he said really trying to slow down. "I. can. make. it. come. out. slower. if. I. really. want. to. It's just a whole lot of extra work, and if you really don't know who Kerr is, then it shouldn't matter if I talk fast. Unless...does it bug you?"
"I'll try to slow it down a bit anyway. Um..." he said, suddenly unsure if he should be talking to her. Sure she didn't know Kerr, but did she know about supernaturals at all? He hoped so. It made explaining his instinctive actions easier.
"Alright." Anastasia smiled. She quickly took it back. You are dark on the inside. He isn't, don't give in.
"So, do you have anything to do right now?" he asked suddenly. "I'm kind of undercover, and talking to you is good. Not that I'm only talking to you as a cover, because I'm not. It's just that I don't want to get caught."
He smiled back at her. But he couldn't get over the feeling of being watched again. He shook his head and asked her where she wanted to go.
"I don't care. You can choose." Anastasia shivered. She moved her hand a bit, causing the clouds to leave, inviting the sun back.
Johnny stared at the sky. The weather was strange today. "We could go to a park, if there is one. I like walking."
"Sure. It's actually right around here." Anastasia smiled. "It's what sold me the house. I'm a sucker for a playground swingset."
"Swingset?" he asked. He felt silly asking what it was, but he'd grown up in the lab. There was no playtime. There was workouts and testing. Occassionally there was school. But only if he was lucky.
Anastasia covered her mouth in playful shock. "You've never..." She grabbed his hand and ran towards the park.
Johnny saw the park up ahead. And in his eagerness to get there, picked the girl (he still doesn't know her name (: ) up and held her in his arms. And then he let himself go. He ran full out for four seconds, and came to a rather harsh stop at the parks edge. He put her down and smiled sheepishly at her. "Sorry, I can never resist the urge to go for a good run." He hoped like hell she was a supernatural being too. Because there was absolutely no way to explain that to a mortal.
"That was. Amazing." Anastasia breathed heavily. "And surprising." She walked towards the swings. "These are swings." Anastasia sat down and began swinging back and forth. "I never told you my name! I'm Anastasia."
"I'm Johnny. Jonathan Gardiner, subject number 2142. I've gone by lots of names. You can call me whatever you want." He smiled at her and hesitantly sat on the swings. "You know, this is kind of fun."
"Johnny." Anastasia nodded. "I think it's cruel that you were a test subject. I mean, you're a human being!"
"Yeah, but I'm Kerr's nephew. There were only like 8 kids he found with powers--I mean problems. So I don't know why I was subject 2142. I mean I was the first one there. So I should be number one...oh, that sounds bad. Johnny's number one. Carmin your number five...I can see how the other kids wouldn't have liked that."
