I said this on the Catcher thread, but I think Jeff would be a great spin-off series. He is pretty complex and I guess the current market trend for PNR is male POV - he would be good.

Physically, I imagine him looking like Riley from National Treasure (the tech guy who helped Nick Cage). I can't even remember if that jives with his physical description :)

I kept thinking about 16 Candles when Merit and him were talking about how much she is supposed to be in love with him in the limo. "Can I borrow your underpants for 10 minutes?"

I've always thought Jeff was younger though? I sort of had the image of Adam Brody in my head when she described him.

I read a theory on another thread that I thought was interesting. The person thought that Jeff might be the alpha of the Chicago area. Remember how they wouldn't tell Ethan/Merit who that was? Maybe that's b/c he is too young and not fully into his power for them to want to reveal it. Also he is well placed in his role in the Ombuds office so they wouldn't want that getting out.

I thought it's an interesting theory. In Twice Bitten he fought well, so we know he's strong. When he came to the shifter meeting, he seemed to be well liked by the higher ups. And he's romancing the Apex's sister, heir to the throne.
