The Outsiders
discussion
Does anyone think that Dally was gay for Johnny?

And going back to the paper or study I didn't quote, was it the one from Frankenstein, because I can cite and source it and more theories. Those essays are all in front of the Barnes and noble publishing edition of Frankenstein. Let me know :)

You have not given any evidence whatsoever besides repeating that he did. I don't find it convincing. Most conversations on Goodreads are evidence-based. Not about name-calling, swearing, and insisting on your interpretation such are your contributions.

A long, tedious story about an essay on Frankenstein you read doesn't count as a study. It's not evidence having to do with the question at hand. You haven't given any evidence at all.

You're not answering my question!
WHY!?

No, they don't. It gives no evidence as to why Dally might be gay. You have not given any evidence. You have no logical point.

You have no evidence to suggest that he wasn't which could be used as evidence to prove that he was. Maybe he's bi!? You're so narrow minded. Get out!

There are valuable lessons to be learned in first grade: how to converse politely, how to disagree respectfully, how to stay on topic, how to use a comma properly. I'm not sure you are in the position of having mastered these skills enough to teach them.

You need some new cliches. You've already used the first. Not to mention that first sentence is a comma splice.

You actually don't have to be either to understand basic punctuation. I usually don't correct people, but I figure since you are so deep into the delusion of your intellectual and moral superiority to others, that I would do you a favor and help you out. Perhaps your next outbreak of self-righteous indignation doesn't have to be as riddled with errors. There are few things more ridiculous than a person who can't write simple sentences correctly calling someone else an idiot.

And the delusions continue...

This is another fantasy: Jeremiah-the inexhaustible defender of free speech and minority rights, which he accomplishes by shutting down conversation and shouting abuse. You are obviously a great humanitarian and work selflessly so others can have a voice.
Deep down, you know this isn't what was happening here.

Look! It's another question that I don't have to answer!

This is another question. Notice the question mark at the end. Hence, this is another question that I don't have to answer-no matter how outraged you become or how entitled you feel. This is a good lesson for you, and it's one you should have already learned, to be frank.
The person who is unable to have a civil discussion is you. The person who can't give evidence or use literary terms correctly is you. Take a good look at yourself. You are not defending anyone else here. You are making yourself look petty, childish, and silly. This show of outrage you display is comically outsized.

That's pretty hardcore delusional right there. As I've said before, you seem not to have the slightest clue about how obnoxious and immature you are acting and how weak and silly it looks.

This is another self-serving fantasy of yours.

Keep on asking then. That just shows your oversized sense of entitlement. That you think anyone has to answer your questions is pretty strange-especially since you acknowledge that you haven't answered mine. Did you notice how I didn't follow you around in a huff going, "You haven't answered my question!" or "Answer my question!". You really have no idea how people act on here.

Keep asking the question, Jeremiah.

I'm just ignoring it. Continue to pester me like a little boy who wants a candy bar at the grocery store. Pout about it.

I don't know why you are obsessing with "the last word". I imagine that this conversation will not be over until you flounce off and actually stay gone. Then your contribution to this thread will be finished, but mine will not.

You haven't contributed anything yet to this thread. Generic name-calling is about the only thing in your bag of conversational tricks, and that's just weak. "The last word" means nothing because people don't need the last word to see what is going on. The last word you have is not going to be treated any differently than all your preceding words. It's not going to change how you look to others.

Whatever you do at this point will not erase the history of this exchange.

Am I the puppeteer here? I thought I made it clear that your leaving will not mean the end of my contribution to this thread. If you want to leave, man up and leave.

More silly fantasies from Jeremiah.

That's my question to you.
Why?
