Hey Natasha, was Jenny able to answer your question for you? Let me know if paypal works, otherwise we can definitely find a way to get you a copy! And thanks for helping out, Jenny!

Thanks Scott, I hope you enjoy it! How would you describe your reading tastes?

Hey Natasha, I just emailed you. Thanks for checking the story out!
Yeah, the website downloading mechanism really isn't optimal. People are better off going to Amazon or Smashwords.

You can find it here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0041G6KT4

Jason, sorry for the late response. I just caught your reply.
I read all types of fiction but I have been reading a lot of sci-fi, horror, and thriller books lately.
Every once in awhile I read some non-fiction also but not very often.

Hey Scott, thanks for your reply. I've been thinking a lot about the thriller genre lately. It seems to me that it's important for all books to have some sort of excitement about them, and so in a way all books might be considered thrillers. Just a bit of my musings. Hopefully you're finding lots of thrilling books lately!

Thanks for your interest, Brittany! I've been lucky that some people have been having fun with them. As for the print version, unfortunately the current status is: so close yet so far. I've been waiting for my friend who does the formatting to do the first few pages, but he's so backed up I have no idea when he'll get to it. I could do it myself and order the review copy tomorrow, but I know it wouldn't look nearly as good. So I'm leaning toward waiting. I know there are other people waiting for print copies too.
I'd say if you find yourself ready to read it, grab the kindle for PC app and see how that works for you.

JASON: do you think it will come out on hard copy?"
We are absolutely going to have print versions, but my best guess is it'll take another month. My friend said he might be able to get to it by next weekend. Then I can submit and order the review copy, which will hopefully be ok.
I'd jump out of a window to hand my book to somebody, so it kills me that people who want to read it can't. Believe me, I'll let you and everyone know.

I completely understand, and I want all of you to be as comfortable as possible reading it. I'll be sure to contact everyone interested in the print version as soon as it's available.
And thank you all so much for your support! It's been fun playing author, and this has been a big part of what makes it worth it to me. I'm slowly creeping up on 500 sales, which is a big accomplishment seeing as I've only been doing this a few months! Thank you all again!

Well, you know, print books can be pretty confusing too! --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQHX-S...

That link was amazing... thanks for making my morning since I'm not overly happy about being at work so early on a Saturday.

And working on a Saturday--Ouch! I hope it goes quickly for you, Brittany!

I also need to get some homework done, BUT I need to wake up a bit more before I can start concentrating on Statistics.

Thanks so much for your comment, J.M.! I'm glad to know you had a good time with it. That's what it's all about for me. I can only hope others who've gotten a chance to check it out feel the same way!

Yay! Amazon actually just put it on sale for 20% off too! I don't know how long it'll last, but it's definitely worth taking advantage of.

Thanks so much, Bluemoon! How would you describe your reading tastes? I hope you find something in the story that resonates with you!
ALSO, I just ordered the proof copy for the print version! The letters on the front cover read vertically, but I think it'll be ok. I'll let everyone know when it goes live! :)

Congratulations Jason!

Congratulations Jason!"
Thanks so much, Scott! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I hope you find the next book is even better. :)

I appreciate that, Kourtni! Thanks for reading! Be sure and tell your friends. I'm shooting for a December 1st release of Book 3, Powerless: The Stasis.
And for everyone else, the print version of book 1 should be live in just a couple of days! How does it look??

I could not get over what happened to Mira in The Shadowing and how it affected her. I didn't expect it at all. Crazy crazy crazy. What a great read!

Bluemoon, thanks so much for reading. I hope the story is working for you. Book 1 really is an innocent story about fitting in that I equate with the early Harry Potter books. A cliffhanger though? I would never! :) Then after Book 1 I think Kourtni said it best: "I could not get over what happened to Mira in The Shadowing and how it affected her. I didn't expect it at all. Crazy crazy crazy. What a great read! That ending just killed me!! I have to know what happens!!!!" That's really exactly what I was going for, Kourtni. I'm so glad you found the story entertaining! Trust me, there's plenty more craziness to come.
I have to tell you though that if you enjoy the books it is so important for you to do what you can to tell other people. Blogging, recommending, telling friends. For someone like me who is doing this independently, that makes a HUGE difference. Thank you all for your support and enthusiasm!

Since you would never ever give us a cliffhanger, I want you to know that I expect the 2nd book to be available in print by the time I finish the 1st(j/k... kinda). Kourtni's comment has me scared, but I'm sure it's all part of your evil master plan.

And thanks for your interest too, Lori. Though the book is available in print, you still won't be finding it in stores. It'll be available on CreateSpace.com now and on Amazon.com in a couple weeks and that's pretty much it. FYI: I'll make $3-4 from Createspace and about $1 from Amazon per copy. The rest goes to corporate bigwigs. So if you have to choose one or the other... :)
A big thanks to everyone here who's given me a chance! You all are really my home team, and I hope I can live up to it now that a few more of you getting your hands on the story.

They are great for the consumer but not so much for the vendor.
I'm ordering my copy next week (hubby's payweek, heehee) and I'll make sure to go through Createspace.com.

Hey Heidi, I just checked and I actually don't see a paypal option, which is lame. Maybe that's because Paypal is an Ebay thing and CreateSpace is an extension of Amazon. If you decide you want to wait until it gets onto Amazon.com, that's totally fine.

P.S. can you tell I'm bored at work right now. Otherwise I wouldn't be quite so quick to respond to everyone's posts. 1 more hour!

I may end up being less patient than you are! November is so far away!!!
I'll list the createspace.com link in the book's description, so you all don't need to dig through this thread to find it.
