Yasmin The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella I got this book just yesterday and i have now read it. Personally i think this book is great if you have read the Twilight Saga. It tells you so much more about life as a new born vampire, and what the cullens look like from their perspective. Anyone who reads the Twilight books should definately read this, i guarantee you'll enjoy it. 5 stars!

There are some things that i found surprising in the book. Like secrets i didnt know about the Volturi visiting Victoria. The book tells you so much more about what the newborn vampires were fighting for, and how they were lead and what they were told. It has definately answered a few questions in my head that i wasnt sure about.

Personally, i found the book very tragic, and ended up crying at the end! Im so glad i got this book, and recommend it to all Twilight readers out there.

Kirby Good to know...I guess I had planned on reading it on the internet after tomorrow. About how long is it?

Yasmin Its exactly 178 pages, takes 2 days to read at the most i guess :) I pre ordered mine from WHSmith, because they gave me a free book when i ordered it! :)

Audrey Yeah I got mine like three days after it came out.

Kirby Well, I was quite disappointed. I wish that, if Stephenie Meyer was willing to spend more time in the land of Twilight, she had finished Midnight Sun instead of spending the time w/ a character about whom I do not care.

Whitney wth is going on I dont remember joining this group or a few others that are on my list. Either they some how got added on i accidently got on some one elses name or my groups are coming up really weird. :'(

Ariel I read it in half a day...... anyway I LOVED it lol it really DID answer those mental questions I had in the back of my mind.

Chakara, this isn't a group, it is a discussion on a book that you must have read. One of the new changes that they did to GR is add conversations to all books. If you don't want to see these, then when you click on home, and choose discussions, make sure that just Groups is selected on the top right side, not Books or Both. Then you will only see your groups. and not the discussions on the books you read.

Krystal I would of liked Bree to stay around I wish the volturi would of let her live I liked her character.

Gloria poor diego, him and bree made such a cute couple
too bad for bree too, i wished she could have sticked alive but the stupid volturi

AlbertaJenn I liked Bree, too. But remember, there was a purpose to Bree's death. It was to show how heartless and powerful the Volturi are. No one who breaks the laws or goes up against them lives.

This gives a little more insight as to why there was no fight scene in Breaking Dawn (I think). If that was how they treated one (relatively) innocent vampire, how would they treat a coven they had to go to battle with? All the Cullens would have ended up dead.

Elizabeth Cornish I really didn't like this book. It didn't go anywhere. At all. I liked some of it, but the rest was pointless to add. Bree wasn't a main character so it wasn't really necessary to know what happened to her.

I respectfully disagree. There are two very revealing things about this book:

1) Showed what happened in Seattle while the Cullens were in Forks hearing about the army. Proved that the Volturi were involved, and that they are always hiding their own agenda regarding the Cullens.

2) Gave insight to how a normal vampire felt going through the change in the Twilight world. Bella's experience was not normal, by any means. She didn't have to fight her desire for blood, nor did she have the urge to kill. I think it was part of her special ability as a caregiver and a shield. But Bree went through what every other vampire went through when they are turned. It really showed how Edward, Rosalie, and everyone else felt when they became vampires.

Yasmeen i never really read the books just watched the movie but i did read this book and it was sad..

Emm I actually really enjoyed this... i wish stephanie had made some kind of different series for this. i love learning about the other side of the story... and when it came to the bit where she was with bella and edward... it was just so strange... very sad. Star rating 5! STARS

rose I just LOVED this book. Although---
-I was really hoping since I knew bree had died from Eclipse, that Stephanie Meyer would have shown into the Vampire Afterlife...i was disappointed
-I really liked the fact that when Bree was in the clearing, she was secretly telling Edward everything she knew...So in Eclipse you were completely oblivious of how edward was seeing the situation..
-I am severely unhappy that The Cullens Never met Fred! I just adore him!! I think Bree should've left with him. And Could have been happy with him. Despite Deigo (<
