Hilarious! I got Bayou Moon from the library yesterday, and immediately went to the back of the book hoping for a Magic Slays teaser. The first chapter was there and then reading the twitter fun just made my day!

The girl on this cover seems to have lighter skin and looks less exotic and "striking" (which is how Kate is described)
Do you think they had a new lion as well lol?

i think her face looks a bit different then the other kate. and then the hair, i dunno maybe its the violey glow around her. if it is a different model which do u like better this model or the one on the other books?

i think the lion is the same.

Yeah, if you compare the other covers, she has to be a different model.
I personally prefer the 'original' one, just because a)I'm used to her and I don't really like change lol, and b)it's more how I imagine Kate, different and a bit 'unusual', darker skin, eyes and hair etc.
What do you think?

i also like the other kate. this one if i keep staring at her for a while she looks like she's foreign. but i think the other kate is beautiful and i love the dark skin and her hair...im not too crazy about this newbie. i hate when they change models for books....makes me mad.
