Hm. Let me think. Yes, pie. And lawn ornaments, and white socks, and, oh, you probably haven't checked the baseball threads, so there was a lot of talk about an almost-perfect game. And some talk about reading in the summer and weather, rain near Gail, and Jackie posted something on book covers, too. The ficus has been stationary.
By the way, I thought this thread was going to be about the skill of summarizing, which is very difficult to teach, really, all that dropping the unimportant and keeping the important.
We've even talked sports lately just for you Sally!

The good news is that what my student teaching placement this fall happened to be in a 10th grade composition class.
I'm way behind on posts because of the end of the semester. I'll catch up, but if I missed anything particularly important/interesting, please let me know.
