Oh my GOD. I think I may blow a gasket if I hear any more about BREAKING DAWN. Not only did Stephanie Meyer write some softcore porn for all her little tween readers to enjoy (haven't read it -- just what I was told), Bella gets PREGNANT. Correct me if I'm wrong, but my little sister told me that female vampires can't conceive. BUTT Edward knocks up bella?? in what twisted universe do men have sperm but women apparently don't have ovaries? WHat the hell people!!!! And then the kid Jacob falls in love with Bella's kid???? WTF?? Seriously! What kind of drugs was Meyer on when she concocted this sick story??

PLEASEEEE someone tell me they are as fed up as I am!!

I can't believe that!! Technically I've tuned out the arrival of "Breaking Dawn" I bet in Midinight Sun all Edward will talk about is how great Bella looks and all the other females in his frikin school!! Just like Bella only talked about Edward and pretty much every guy that tried to flirt with her!!

Lol, I just finished BD (skipped all the 'porn' parts so my mom wouldn't eat me alive ;) ) and I totally agree Gemma. I think that she basically wrote what all the fans wanted to hear, and not what should've happened. 'Cause she had the Jacob people she needed to staisfy. And she had the Edward (Deadward, lol) people she had to satisfy. And, of course, who wants to disapiont their fans and get less money?

HAHA! Read Breaking Dawn while I was waiting for another book...omfg. HILARIOUS. The demon spawn hybrid creature and The wolf wanting to rape said demon spawn hybrid creature. Oh, and we can't forget the thickly layed on happily ever after (*gags*). Ha, seriously, the ending was TERRIBLE. Any shadow of the Twilight (NOT a f***ing) "Saga" actually being promising and Stephenie meyer actually being a decent auther was completely bashed. It also proved that Bella may be the biggest, most perfect, lived out from Meyer, Mary Sue of all Mary Sues in today's Teen Literature (if you want to call this rubbish literature, that is...).

But seriously, funnier than the wolf-rape (Epic fail imprint- so the most promising character is completely wasted after wanting to do the mutant-sue) was Bella (She Bang! She Bang!) wanting sex ALL THE FREAKING TIME- seriously!!! Wtf!? She would stay human for sex- great message to Tweens- and as a vampire that's all they did!
And I didn't appreciate the "wild" Brazilians- I mean, honestly Meyer? Honestly?!
The birth was deeply disturbing- seemed like gore for the sake of gore.
Ugh, and the ending- sappy, terribly sweet, yet it left such a God awful taste in my mouth. Bella didn't have to lose anything- she gets her dad (whom I feel sorry for), Charlie, she gets Jacob, she didn't have to go through a hard newborn stage, she stole Lily Potter's love shield (copyright dammit!), and she even got a little mutant baby- WTF!? So what was said in the last book meant nothing- she made a choice and she didn't have to suffer any consequences?! What makes me even more ill is the fact that the mutant (Yes, I won't say the name because the name is actually more horrible than the thing itself) gets to live happily ever after with the (now) Epic fail Werewolf and her mummy and daddy who will rock thier cottage in the woods for centuries to come and everyone lives happily ever after (lol wut). WTF!?!?!?

HAHAHA its so humourous how absolutely horrid this book was- yet again proving that Stephenie Meyer completely blows as a writer, and- like she has been before- shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as J.K Rowling (damn I did it!).

Not only does Meyer encourage teen sex but unprotected teen sex at that. Great job there :: thumbs up :: To bad in the real world babies won't be able to grow up so fast, so, once again, great job in showing responsibility for your actions.

And, just a moot point, if Edward is dead, how the hell does he have sperm? o.O Worst. "Vampire" Book. Ever.

Oh my goodness. You guys are sooooo funny. Personaly I like the book but I also like your criticism. I think you should voice your opinion more often. I would love to see the angry faces of my friends when they go online and see this. If I hated the book I would push my friends buttons more often.

the things that bothers me the most must be the fact that Bella suffered absolutely no consequences. There was no sacrifice. NONE whatsoever. Unprotected sex (GASP!) she gets preggers BUT more or less gives birth to an adult so she doesn't have to deal with any of the struggles of raising a child (god forbid Bella does any work WHATSOEVER) She becomes a vampire and still gets her dad. WTF? She stays friends with the kid she blatantly led on and rejected time after time.

I do not think I have ever come across a blander, lazier, protagonist in all of my 18 years.

correction -- what annoys me most is the blatant anti-feminism Meyer displays. Her weak female character can be overlooked, but COME ON! Dead male vampires (DEAD DAMMIT) can keep their reproductive organs and sperm, but women....well they aren't so lucky.


side note-- If anyone has ever seen the UK show Torchwood, when Owen died (but stayed deadalive?) some girl put her hands down his pants and asked if he liked her because he wasn't responding. He goes onto to curse his lack of nerves and libido.

Stephanie Meyer dug herself into a ditch on this one. Im not exactly a vampire buff but most of the time are they really dead? aren't they sort of a different species? or something?...idk

Hello, I'm new to the group. I'm so glad to have found a group of fellow Twilight haters. You have no idea (well, perhaps you do) how irritated I am by the rabid Twilight lovers. I agree with what someone said earlier... they ask if you've read it, and either belligerently assume that you will once they ask or that yo loved it. Such people threaten to eradicate the last bit of optimism in human intelligence left in me... And your group is one of those that keeps me hoping that maybe there are sane people still in the world.
