Oh my GOD. I think I may blow a gasket if I hear any more about BREAKING DAWN. Not only did Stephanie Meyer write some softcore porn for all her little tween readers to enjoy (haven't read it -- just what I was told), Bella gets PREGNANT. Correct me if I'm wrong, but my little sister told me that female vampires can't conceive. BUTT Edward knocks up bella?? in what twisted universe do men have sperm but women apparently don't have ovaries? WHat the hell people!!!! And then the kid Jacob falls in love with Bella's kid???? WTF?? Seriously! What kind of drugs was Meyer on when she concocted this sick story??
PLEASEEEE someone tell me they are as fed up as I am!!

I can't believe that!! Technically I've tuned out the arrival of "Breaking Dawn" I bet in Midinight Sun all Edward will talk about is how great Bella looks and all the other females in his frikin school!! Just like Bella only talked about Edward and pretty much every guy that tried to flirt with her!!

But seriously, funnier than the wolf-rape (Epic fail imprint- so the most promising character is completely wasted after wanting to do the mutant-sue) was Bella (She Bang! She Bang!) wanting sex ALL THE FREAKING TIME- seriously!!! Wtf!? She would stay human for sex- great message to Tweens- and as a vampire that's all they did!
And I didn't appreciate the "wild" Brazilians- I mean, honestly Meyer? Honestly?!
The birth was deeply disturbing- seemed like gore for the sake of gore.
Ugh, and the ending- sappy, terribly sweet, yet it left such a God awful taste in my mouth. Bella didn't have to lose anything- she gets her dad (whom I feel sorry for), Charlie, she gets Jacob, she didn't have to go through a hard newborn stage, she stole Lily Potter's love shield (copyright dammit!), and she even got a little mutant baby- WTF!? So what was said in the last book meant nothing- she made a choice and she didn't have to suffer any consequences?! What makes me even more ill is the fact that the mutant (Yes, I won't say the name because the name is actually more horrible than the thing itself) gets to live happily ever after with the (now) Epic fail Werewolf and her mummy and daddy who will rock thier cottage in the woods for centuries to come and everyone lives happily ever after (lol wut). WTF!?!?!?
HAHAHA its so humourous how absolutely horrid this book was- yet again proving that Stephenie Meyer completely blows as a writer, and- like she has been before- shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as J.K Rowling (damn I did it!).

And, just a moot point, if Edward is dead, how the hell does he have sperm? o.O Worst. "Vampire" Book. Ever.

the things that bothers me the most must be the fact that Bella suffered absolutely no consequences. There was no sacrifice. NONE whatsoever. Unprotected sex (GASP!) she gets preggers BUT more or less gives birth to an adult so she doesn't have to deal with any of the struggles of raising a child (god forbid Bella does any work WHATSOEVER) She becomes a vampire and still gets her dad. WTF? She stays friends with the kid she blatantly led on and rejected time after time.
I do not think I have ever come across a blander, lazier, protagonist in all of my 18 years.

correction -- what annoys me most is the blatant anti-feminism Meyer displays. Her weak female character can be overlooked, but COME ON! Dead male vampires (DEAD DAMMIT) can keep their reproductive organs and sperm, but women....well they aren't so lucky.
side note-- If anyone has ever seen the UK show Torchwood, when Owen died (but stayed deadalive?) some girl put her hands down his pants and asked if he liked her because he wasn't responding. He goes onto to curse his lack of nerves and libido.
Stephanie Meyer dug herself into a ditch on this one. Im not exactly a vampire buff but most of the time are they really dead? aren't they sort of a different species? or something?...idk

I love the TWILIGHT saga its very very good. Breaking dawn is awesome too.
You just probably damaged your brain because everyone who read twilight loves it. And the rest of you twilight haters shup up and keep your opinions to your selves because no one will listen to you anyways.
sorry....i dont remember addressing you... peculiar...
I also don't recall ever trying to force my opinions onto anyone...
pray tell, how exactly does expressing a negative opinion on a poorly written book qualify my as brain damaged? Instead, I think it means that I am actually capable of independent thought rather than buying into the hype of a tween novel.

Ok I'm tired of being nice! Jamain, take your "religion"(a.k.a twilight) and get out! And I don't ever want to see you in my group again! And by the way, you are the one that needs to shut up and keep your opions to yourself!! You twilight lovers are all the same! And NO ONE cares weather or not you like twilight so just shut up and get a life!!!

I am seriously at a loss for why people come to a group CLEARLY angled towards people who don't like the twilight series. What would possess them to come here and try to convince us otherwise. We have logic (not to mention good taste) on our side and all they have is an infatuation with a fictional character.

I know! Its like they are attracted to people who don't give a crap wether they like a gay book! Its not like they are going to change our opinon on a dang book just cause they infested our group and insulted us!(by the way Gemma I hope you don't mind that you are now a moderator!)
oh of course not thank you!
lol I know EXACTLY what you mean. Like that odd group of people that decided to post a whole bunch of "i love twilight" up and down the page. I seriously cannot think of one redeeming quality of the book and proclaiming love for Edward sadly isn't going to change my mind.

Go voice it to some people who care! Cause we cearatainly don't! Go back to "Twilgiht Lovers!" B
voice your opinion all you want. Im not about to stop you. Ill just respond accordingly.
I was VERY open minded when I read the books. I kept reading hoping for some sort of action....and was faced with utter disappointment. The climax of the second book is when Edward decides to streak through Italy....

Streak through Italy. HAHA! XD
bitter?? is that some new synonym for opinionated??
Because if its not I think you may want to rethink your word choice.
I couldn't give two shits what you think about me. No one told you to come here and "waste" your time.
But please do all of us a favor and waste your time somewhere else :)

Bitter isn't a very good way to explain it. Bitter is closer to holding a grudge.

Thanks for joining! We are all fed up with "twilght" and Deadward! What has the world come too!!! And now we are dealing with a "twlight lover" coming in here and "voicing" her opinons about how she "LOVES!!!!!!" Twilight and Deadward.
This is a great little spot to release all my pent up anger centered around this awful saga. Before I joined I thought that me and my sisters were the only ones who saw the series for what it really was -- internet fiction that someone without an ounce of taste decided to publish.

Same here. I didn't really think there was anyone else in the world who hated Twilight besides Mallie and me.
No Mallie was WAY obsessive before this. I myself hated the book. She thought I was crazy but soon enough she was converted to sensibility.
hm... Sorry but I find these augments of comments a little overdone so I'll be leaving. No offense or anything but you guys really just freak out and all that. I'm not going to join any twilight lover groups or anything but I just don't think I hate the book either. I feel more indifferent. Besides. I've read worse than Sm. See ya!
haha I completely understand, kataury. I get really riled up sometimes and it seems a little...well dramatic lol.
edward is more of a jerk than edward
