Hate Twilight
Hi. I just joined and I hate Twilight! And I'm tired of people raving about it! I can't even TRY to talk some sense into those fans. I found your group and felt right at home. - Anna
I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but in 'New Moon' when Jacob visits Bella and tried to get to see he's werewolf without letting Sam and the others, then later in the book Bella goes to see and he explains what he was trying to tell her and that all the werewolf's thoughts can be heard by each other, then how come they couldn't hear him then, and when Jacob tried to give her hints, he wasn't a wolf at the moment, so why when he explained everything to Bella when she so rudely barged into his house, they couldn't hear him and he wasn't a wolf at that moment but they could before??
I'm not even going to try and sort out all the inconsistencies in Twilight--there are sooo many. SM has a ton of holes in her books.
I know. I hate this book. Bella is so pathetic judging everyone when they're all nice to her. Plus she hears Edward's voice after he leaves her?? Talk about stalkerish.

Chill. If you guys love something, why don't we have a right to hate something? We're mature (or at least most of us) enough to discuss this with intellect. Some of us probably invited you to see our views and for us to see your views. But I guess that's not what you want is it. At least Mikayla (the one who's in the Hello forum) is mature enough.

Ohkay, I am unfortunately, one of those people who read Twilight. I will admit that it was ohkay-ish. Not the greatest. I mean, it's so totally over-rated. It's pretty much like HELLLLOOOO??? Edward is NOT real!!!! I am Harry Potter fan all the way. In my opinion, L.J. Smith's Night World series, and the Cast's House of Night series are much BETTER than Twilight. Oh and yah, I think Bella is kind of like super needy for Edward. Seriously, GROW-UP!!!
Harry Potter is SO much better than Twilight. Unlike SM, JK actually put soem thought into planning it out and not just writing down stupid things that make no sense.
If you don't like Twilight Then you'll like Harry Potter.
Harry Potter is so different from Twilight, in my opinion there's no point to comparing the two. They're in alternate universes from each other.
Well, Harry Potter is a) a thousand times better than Twilight, b) well thought-out and developed, c) has wonderful characters that actually change throughout the series, and d) actually funny, not pretend-funny.Twilight is a) dumb and cliched, b) tossed together in the space of about 3 years, c) a romance, and d) the main characters have absolutely no flaws. They are all perfect stereotypes.
You can probably tell which I like better.

This book is a fantastic idea but it's not written well. My guess is you're all just jealous because you think you can write better than her (which admittedly you probably can, because she's not amazing) but your writing isn't getting anywhere. Right? Yes. So you pick up on the one bad thing about the book and you maximize it a million times until it becomes a really big deal and you're all going mental and attacking eachother.
STOP SAYING STUFF ABOUT EDWARD, HE DOESN'T EXIST!!!!

Harry Potter isn't well written either and I've noticed that nobody has said that it was well written. You've all avoided that fact, yeah? Because it's not, and I could write the first book better than J.K.Rowling did. But the IDEA of Harry Potter is just insanely intriguing and I love it. Same with Twilight. And you can go out there finding a load of I Hate Harry Potter sights and you know how offended you feel when you read all that stuff about who cares if Dumbledore died and Harry's just an idiot anyway? I did read the Twilight books so you know, and I hate Twilight because it is 3rd grade writing about stupid vampires. If you want to watch a good vampire series from TV, try Moonlight. It's not that I don't like vampires, it is just the fact that Stephanie Meyer cannot write well, and the movie was poorly made.

Really? That's great! Now you can show her where her flaws are in the book and maybe just MAYBE LEARN FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!!! And no I don't get bullied, I'm the ones that punch the bullies if they mess with me. And if you bring a motherf***ing twilight book anywhere near me I will burn it and make it a bonfire party. So we don't really care if SM is your aunt or your cousin removed twice, her books sucks.
1. Isabella Swan is not your everyday girl. Everyday girls are not that whiny, ignorant, stupid, and most of all clingy.
2. When your boyfriend starts stalking you and watch you sleep at night, it's creepy not romantic.
3. Isabella Swan is a Mary-Sue.
4. Vampires that sparkles? Really??!!! No seriously, that's really lame.
5. SM repeats words too often. Velvety. Ugh.
6. Focusing on how hot and sexy Edward is every time Bella see him is really irritating. Yes we get it, he's drop-dead gorgeous and let's focus on something else.
7. In the third book when the new-born vampires attack and there was one that surrendered right? That vampire was murdered and Bella did not even raise her oh so weak and frail finger to help that vampire. Sure she's human but that vampire used to be human too. Wouldn't you feel sick when you know an innocent bystander was killed and you could've done something to stop it? I'm sure you would but Bella didn't.
8. Series is extremely cliche.
9. When Edward left Bella in the second book, she was really suffering from it right? Then she just lets Edward who had walked all over her feelings come back to her so easily. I mean I would too if he had a good reason but not without some sort of revenge-like thing. You don't walk all over a girl's feelings and get away with it like that even if you had a really great reason.
10. Edward is way overprotect of Bella and acts like her father. It's really nasty because it's like having a sexual relationship between father and daughter. That's kind of how Edward treats Bella, like she's his daughter.
These are some reasons and I can list more if you want.

First of all it's sites not "sights" and second you're not really respecting our feelings on hating twilight now are you? Third if they can make "I hate Harry Potter" sites then so can we make an "I Hate twilgiht" site. But I appreciate your efforts to make everyone more neutral :] Don't worry, I'm only mean to the no-brainers.
I actually, at one point, like them. *le gasp*But those days are long done! I sold the series to my sister for five bucks. Practically every day I have an argument with friends on if the series is crappy or amazing. Every single time, I list many reasons, and they just say something like, "Edward is so hot! Alice is awesome!" I ask why, and they say, "Because they just are!"

Twilight is just plain bad. When it first came out I read a review and it made me want to read it, so I bought the book, sat down, read the whole thing, and felt honestly confussed about what all the fuss was about. It's boring, it's fake, it's not gripping or exciting at all. I have a boyfriend, real relationships are nothing like the one in Twilight- it's not realistic. It's only a story- sure, but real books reflect real things and issues in life. Twilight just appeals to people who haven't had any life experience, like perfection, and like romance. The Twilight series is actually anti-feminist book of the way Bella thinks her life revolves around Edward. Come on guys, that type of thing is going a bit far isn't it? I'm fine with people liking Twilight. The romance of the book appeals to females. My main problem with it is that it's gaining more honour than it deserves, such as comparing it to Harry Potter- dream on! And if you look at the best books ever on this website, it's sitting there somewhere near the top- again dream on!

Ohmigod. I just heard on one of my e-mails that people are actually degrading themselves TO LITERLY WORSHIP THE GOD**N BOOK. I like Twilight, not an obsession, but it's a fluffy book that requires no thinking. Can't stand Bella's needy-ness but I like Meyer's word choices. I'm just here to see why you guys don't like it. Carry on.
I think that Cullenisim is a bit of sickness. Can't you just like a book and get on with reading some other ones? There are so many books to read and definatly not enough time. I rarely re-read books. Except for Harry Potter because I'm an official Nerd: a Never Ending Radical Dudette!
