Just joined this group (and website even) and I think it too tedious to read ALL former messages. So, I've ranted a lot about Twilight really with the same reasons you guys have: purple prose, flat characters, non-existent plot, godforsaken writing, and an ABSOLUTE sell-out (not to mention the horde of Twitards that go with it). I just wanted to share this: A literary giant FINALLY snapped back at Meyer: Stephen King.

hah!!! finally!!!My bleeping friends became obsessed with the fad, but I wasn't. I've been reading since I was in highschool, and I found twilight VERY annoying.
those who LOVED it are not wide readers..

I love the vampire chronicles and now it seems like Stephanie Meyer is destroying everything that is elegant, mysterious and beautiful about vampires.

hey, school right now has been mega busy! But OMG guess what! There are French exchange students at my class, only eigth graders take them to their classes but Im in an algebra class made for eigth graders so I sit so close to the French student! He has the best accent!

I havwe to say I hate twilight with a firey passion. It is a horrible book. S. Meyer needs to be transported to a island where the filth she puts down on paper and calls it liturature is burned and never allowed to reach the public. Hasn't our society rotted enough? Must this mindless filth destroy whatever values we had left? God!Ok, so why its a horrible book? Why you ask? Why do I hate it? Because S. Meyer is a horrible person who turned a sex fantasy into a novel that has somehow become popular, and now has decided instead of helping the world take the next step, even if its in her horrible dribble, to put forth her baised, sexist and racist ideas. Breaking Dawn is no more than religious propaganda. It makes me sick.
Another reason I hate twilight, the 'perfect' relationship that is portrayed is a textbook case of an abusive teenae relationship. Its disgusting. Look it up if you don't beleive me, and watch the parallels unfold. Its like S. Meyer looked up what a teenage realtionship shouldn't be, and then decided to write a horrible novel to make teen girls think thats what they wanted. Let me tell you, shes has done sexists and womanizers a huge favor. No to mention that her only minority characters either kill people, or turn into animals, because its only taken us all of time to get away from the idea that people are less than human because of the color of their skin. Sorry, did I just burst someones bubble?

Yeah, its good to have you. Just have to ask, what is with the twitards coming to the 'TWILIGHT HATERS' group? WTF? Why???? That is why, when The Anti-Twilight Coalition site gets up and running, on the forums there, we (the admin) will be able to block users, and delete posts. YAY!!! *Smiles evilly* Ok, so moving on, who thinks Twilight is pretty much a great example of all that is wrong with the world today? I know its not everything, but a good example, no? I think what it stands for, and that it has been so successful really demonstrates what is wrong with the world.

yeah.... shes in 7th grade i think and she takes these college classes, so i think its hard for her to go online.
yeah I know shes in seventh, its freaky were both in Algebra, same grade, and were both muslim! But I didnt know she takes college classes?
