How to get pics or links to show up?

I see pics and links of books in peoples posts but it won't let me know matter what I try.

At the top of your comment box is a link that says "add book/author". Click that and a search window will pop up. At the bottom of that box is the option for link or cover picture. Just search whatever title or author you're looking for and tell it link or picture and select what you want. It'll show up in your comment box when the pop up closes.
