Sins:
Okay So alot of people have Diffrent ideas about Sins. We all sin. If we didnt we'd be God.
I think Sins are sins no matter what. People say if your Gay or bi or Lesbian thats a sin that you'll Go to hell for.
I think that being Gay is okay its a sin. But lying and cheating and stealing are sins as well.So for the people who say Gay's go to hell ur not correct. Because As long as these people Gave themselfs to The lord they will die and Go to heaven as well as the stealers and liar's will. Sins are forgiven. And God loves all of his children.

This is NOT MENT to be an ARGUEMENT. So please don't make it that way.I'm sorry for my poor word choice. I Dont mean to Go againest anyone.

April*procrastinator and proud* (boo-bop) well i actually beleive that we were ALL born wiht sin thats why we do lie and cheat and steal and have gay and les, becuase right now we;re all imperfect from Adam and Eve's sin.
and i don;t beleive in hell becuase God wouldn't make us go through that, becuase he loves us, actually god IS love so he would never make a place for eternal toture, and he's going get rid of the devil and the devil is his enemy so he wouldn;t make a special place for the devil to rule over bad peolpe, that wouldn;t be very good, and God is good.

Christina I don't agree with your statement that there is no hell. God makes it very clear that there is a hell. For example: Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

and 2 Pet 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment.

The bible also states that people who do not belive will go to hell.

Psa 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

Sorry, I'm not trying to be offensive or anything but this is just what I belive.

Ecc 9:5a: For the living are consious that they will die; as for the dead they are consious of nothing at all,
and Hell doesn't mean fiery torture when you die, it mean destroying ino death not eternal suffering.
and its literally Sheolh it just comes up as Hell with our english alphabet.

message 9: by Dovewing (new)

Dovewing | 26 comments Hell would be awfull. Imagine a place with no hope, no peace, no mercy, no goodness at all, and no end.

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

I think that since the bible says there's a hell, then there must be one. If you believve in God, then there must be a Satan right?

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

Don't forget always pain, Dovewing

well sure, it says it in the bible that Lucifer (aka satan) led the rebellion with the fallen angels against God. He's mentioned in there several times

Christina Mikayla wrote: "Okay well we can all have our oppinions this is NOT A DEBATE GROUP"

No, I'm really not trying to start a debate....I just have to stand up for what I belive in...you know?

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

Yea i know im just saying to everyone not trying to yell lol its cool we all have our own thoughts :)

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah. :) This is just a belief discussion really. Just seeing others beliefs.

If that is true then I'm going to Hell then. I'm a straight Christian and I am dating a bisexual. She has given herself to Christ. So if I'm going to Hell for lovign her. So be it. It is my thought that God redeems us all from our sins no matter how big or small. So that is why I don't see my girlfriend as being one to go to Hell. I myself have done many things I regret. Things that she knows and loves me despite.......Thinking about it I think that is an example of the unconditional love God has for us. He doesn't care what we've done or anything. He just cares about us.

But i don't think that it gives you a right to do whatever you want just thinking that God will forgive you.....it should be our goal to be like God.

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes, it is impossible for us to be like god. We are human...but we should at least strive for that because one day (in heaven) we shall be like god, perfect and sinless. How much of an influence would you have to an unbeliever if you yourself are exactly like the world?

Nathaniel (nflores) Breanna wrote: "Blaze wrote: "Ashley wrote: "I think gays and bi and lesbians go to hell"

I know that. I'm not saying that I think the way you're saying I do. I am FAR from perfect or holy and once nearly made my girlfriend cry by saying that of all people I know I was probably destined for Hell. Everytime I do wrong I constantly reprimand myself for it and almost hold in constant memory. But Girl4beluga I understand we should set realistic goals for ourselves.........in a sense I do have some of the qualities a good Christian has (patience, sincerity, honesty where it counts, mercy, calming arguments)However I still easily get angry with ppl, I lie, I give into carnal thinking and things like that. Now though like I said, unlike some ppl I don't think gays, lesbians, or bi's go to Hell. The ppl that go to Hell are the ones that are repeat offenders no matter how hard they try.

Well.........you can still make a difference. As I just said I'm far from being a saint but I still tend to make people see sense or help them in times of trouble. Unbelievers are essentially ppl in need of help. Also no one is EXACTLY like the world. We all (or nearly all) have our morals and lines that we've drawn. Also you are speaking as though you're high and mighty and are looking down upon us. I doubt you're perfect either. Strive as you might you still slip now and then. Even good God-fearing ppl in the bible did. David and Job for example.

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't mean to sound high and mighty......heck, i'm FAR from perfect!! I struggle with doubts and sin all the time!! Every day! Please forgive me if i sounded like that.

Abby wrote: "I don't agree with your statement that there is no hell. God makes it very clear that there is a hell. For example: Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnati..."

i agree with you

message 31: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 12, 2010 10:58AM) (new)

Then what do you base your faith on, if the bible isn't the ultimate truth?

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

But how do you know that your own personal experience is right? I mean you are human yourself...

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

Couldn't you be missled? How do you completely know that that experience was God touching you?

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't know, but you still didn't answer my question...

message 35: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 12, 2010 11:22AM) (new)

can you always trust your feelings? It says so in the bible that you can't trust your heart

message 36: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 12, 2010 11:26AM) (new)

In Jer. 17:9 it says:

"The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

No, i'm not talking about our physical heart, but our spiritual one. And if you think i believe God only through His word, you're seriously mistaken. God speaks through us through his word and his holy spirit, moving our hearts, but you cannot just rely on your feelings.....they will mislead you.

message 38: by [deleted user] (new)

You said you can't trust humans 5 thousand years ago, but how can you trust yourself (a human) now?

message 39: by Christina (new)

Christina How do you not belive the bible?

message 40: by [deleted user] (new)

You believe that God can touch you and enlighten you, but why can't God inspire men 5 thousand years ago to write His word?

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

But you believe the bible has errors in it...

message 42: by [deleted user] (new)

But it was inspired by God, and God is perfect

message 43: by [deleted user] (new)

What? I don't think you're getting my point....

message 44: by [deleted user] (new)

WW2 isn't a being, it isn't a person....sure it can inspire you but writing it won't make it true

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

God is perfect and he is all powerful...if he wants to inspire sinful humans to make an inerrant gospel, he can do so

message 46: by [deleted user] (new)

But what i said, was god can direct people to make it perfect. Do you believe God is all powerful?

message 47: by [deleted user] (new)

I do believe it's possible.....there are tons of historical evidence for it also. But sry, i didn't follow the rest

message 48: by [deleted user] (new)

Like?

message 49: by [deleted user] (new)

I have to disagree with you on the last one.....people have self control. Whether they use it or not, that is the thing. I think there are SOME cases, few and far between, that has something to do with a disorder, but most gays choose that lifestyle

message 50: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 13, 2010 11:30AM) (new)

Well, people like to be different....they like to seem like victims also. How many gays do you know?
