I'm now reading the final book in Brent Weeks' Night Angel seires. I fell in love with the series since the first book, but I find this one a bit different. The atmosphere of the book has changed somewhat.
After that I hope to finally get to read To Ride Hell's Chasm. This book has been waiting on my shel for some months now, and I'm dying to finally start it.

Here is what is next on my TBR:
The Curse of the Mistwraith
The Passage
There's a (Slight) Chance I Might Be Going to Hell: A Novel of Sewer Pipes, Pageant Queens, and Big Trouble

I've also read The Rigante series by Gemmell and I have Legend waiting on my bookshelf. I'm sure I'll get to read some more of his books. He's a great writer, and so far I've enjoyed all of his books.
The Troy series indeed was finished by his wife, Stella. And it also became moticable by the end of the book. I'm not saying it was bad, but it wasn't Gemmell (well technically it was, should I say it wasn't David?). Anyhow, this sereis is definitely worth reading.

I am loving the book so far. Really Looking forward to the other 2 in the series.
Also has anyone read The Tawny Man Trilogy by Robin Hobb ? I believe it has a connection to the Farseer Trilogy with the Characters Fitz and the Fool.
Is the Tawny Man trilogy worth reading if i have enjoyed the Farseer books ?
Cheers
Alan
Alan, there are three trilogies that take place chronologically: The Farseer trilogy, the Liveships trilogy and the Tawny Man Trilogy. To get the most out of this story you need to read all 9 books in order :)
Liveships isn't directly connected with the other 2 but there are pieces of information that are worth knowing when you read the Tawney Man. Tawney man is the story of Fitz and the Fool when they are older and it picks up a lot of the plot threads left open in the Farseer.

Has anyone read the Steerswoman series byRosemary Kirstein? They look interesting, but the reviews aren't helping me decide, so does anyone have any thoughts on them?

I have not, but I've looked for these books - because they are relative unknowns, but have received some rave reviews from readers I trust. They are on my want list, for certain.

If you use book swap, someone has what looks like an omnibus of the first 2 books available. I'm not looking to add to my shelves at this point so libraries are my friend :)

Book swap - not familiar with it. (Usually buy/or do libraries to support authors, etc, but these books are not in print).

On the GR tool bar at the top of the page, open up the "explore" drop down menu and click on "swap". It's pretty self explanatory. Another nice service of GR :)
ETA: The omnibus of the first two books is also available new in hardback from Amazon, BN, adlibris, Powell's. Maybe they are going back into publication. Looks like quite a few used copies available through those sources as well

Yes - I got that far - but could not make head or tail of what the person wanted in return -
Nothing. You pay for the shipping label, they ship it to you. At some point they'll request a book from someone else. People just sort of donate books they're done with to someone else who can enjoy them.

I hate to be an old fashioned pest - but will they allow you to pay for labels by check? (Or do you need PayPal or somesuch?) (Last question, sorry to hijack the topic)
You set it up through GR using a major credit card. I've actually never done it. I have a few friends who use it and seem satisfied with how it works.
