Z: It is about 433 pages in my nook with little little writing and I pretty much have started to read it for a day in between my other books. I think if the book was in paperback it would be anywhere from 500 to 800 pages long. Haha. Plus for awhile it got a little boring but I may have to pick it back up again because Dr. Van Helsing is now starting to play the vampire hunter part.
Awesome!! Well, longer books can be harder to read/ finish sometimes. Hope you have a great time reading it, though! :)Currently reading Catching Fire and Chosen (House of Night, #3)

"Very good book. I am going to have to reread it before I read Crescendo when it comes out.
So instead of reading
I read
which I have finished and now I am reading
at home and
during my breaks at work. When I am done with Nevermore, I have sworn to myself that I will finish
no ifs ands or buts. Plus I need to finish it for a task in the SRC :)
I am currently reading Remember Me, Chosen, & I'm finishing The Last Sonf. After I finish TLS, I will start Clockwork Angel.
Haham let me know how you like it! I've heard that Graceling is better, but haven't had a chance to read it for myself. :).

I liked Fire better than Graceling.
Zakiya wrote: "Just finished The Last Song. Loved it! :D"that was such a good book! whats funny is that all of my friends r reading it right now.
finally finished
and started
Just finished The Book of Margery Kempe (for my British lit class). On to House of Leaves! Maybe I will actually finish The Lightening Thief as well. :)

I am liking Fire, I'm reading it right now

I took a medieval women's lit course. The other book I really loved from that class was The Book of the City of Ladies. I also loved the letters between Abelard and Heloise. It was so sad, even pathetic, the way she still loved him and he would merely respond as if she were an acquaintance.
I'm halfway through
(The Iron King). After that I'll start
(Graceling) because I just finished
(Fire) and thought it was good.
Heather wrote: "do u like nightlight? i read that not to long ago and it was hilarious!"Right now, it's only getting a 1.5 rating, but it may get better along the way. It's more stupid than witty to me, but there are a few funny parts. I've got about 5 good quotes so far. :).

I'm working on finishing some of my currently-reading books, since I have 3 that will be going for a while on Daily Lit. I expect to finish Just Like Someone Without Mental Illness Only More So: A Memoir today or tomorrow, When I Was Puerto Rican and The Bottom Billion: Why the Poorest Countries are Failing and What Can Be Done About It within a week or so. I'm on disk 12 of 18 for Tree Of Smoke, so that's probably 2 or 3 weeks depending how much I'm in the car. My reading always falls off in the fall because I have assignments to grade.
Ugh! It seems I have hit a reading rut! I usually finish at least one book in a weeks time and I have barely read 100 pages in the last week. Anybody have a good remedy for this. Maybe I am getting a little better already though. The last two days is when I have read about 80 of the pages.

Something I really want to read, regardless of when it's due back at the library or how many books are ahead of it in the pile. I think I'm going to do that, as soon as I finish the three books that are due back at the library within the next three days.
I'm reading The Book Thief
It's fantastic. I'm almost done. It's one of the greatest books I've ever read, I'm thinking.

I have this on my "to read" shelf... may have to get on it next!
I'm reading: Professionally--The Book WhispererY/A and for fun: The Cardturner
On the nook: A Whole New Mind
Audiobook (which I don't count for pages): Water for Elephants

and there would be days where I wouldn't read the book and days where I read the book. I eventually started reading about 50 to 70 pages sometimes, depending on how interesting the book is and now I'm starting to read the book almost everyday!
