Joey skipped to the top deck, a cheeky grin on her fce. unfortunetly, her planned gracefulness lost its edge when the ship- gave an unfriendly lurch that sent her stumbling toward the rail. she cursed under breath, wishing she had her sea legs again.
Regan Jones, his hands behind his back, survied the crew. They were working hard, but not nearly hard enough to catch up with that blasted pirate ship they had been tailing.
Regan pulled out his telescope and looked at the ship the look out had just spotted. That was the one!!He shouted orders to the crew.
"Catch this one, ladies and Gentlemen and it's back to mainland for all of us!!"
He glanced again through the 'scope and was surprised to see a pirate girl waving excitedly at him.

Joey waved at the incoming Navy ship, smiling happily.
"Hey Luke, look!! Bad guys!!"
Luke glanced over his shoulder and smirked.
"They've been tailin' us for days. No one can catch this ship, Joe."
"I wish SOMEONE would. it's gettin' awfully dull, running away."
"We're pirates. we come, we steal/plunder, we run. It's what we do."
Elizabeth mopped the deck. Its what she got for smarting of
Joey's smile widened."These ones are awful friendly Luke! See, look, someone's wavin' back!" Her smile got bigger until she was suddenly tugged away from the railing by Luke. He pushed a telescope up to her eyes and pointed toward the captain. Joey groaned.
"Ah, great. Him again? I guess he took it personal like when you gave 'em that scar, eh Luke? Luke?" Joey turned around, looking and was surprised to see that Luke had disappeared. She shrugged, slipped the telescope into her pocket and smiled at the girl on the opposing ship.

Regan's fists clenched tightly around the telescope in his hands, fury mounting. It was that no good scum bag, Luke. The boy has given him trouble years ago...Regan touched a scar along the left side of his face that went down past his collar with out thinking. he slammed the telescope shut and began to yell orders. Lizzy finished mopping and went to the rail and watched the other ship following them
