Haha, I'm that way with DVDs. If I'm watch a tv show on Dvd, I will seriously connect my old PS2 so that I can have two disks in at once and won't have to get up to watch the second disk after I'm done with the first!

I am 26, live in Ontario Canada, and am currently working part time, until i save enough money to go back to school. Hoping to finish off university with a degree in English/History so I can become a high school teacher.

Hi! I just joined. I'm 27, live in the Seattle area. I have loved to read all my life. My favorite genre is usually centered around Fantasy. (Lately Urban Fantasy). I also love a ton of YA stuff. And as an English Lit graduate, I've read a ton of stuff.

I have a question. Are most of you only counting from the recent years, or are you trying to back count as well? I know I'll never be able to get a 100% solid count for my years of life, but for some reason I feel crazy enough to try...

Don't feel crazy enough to try! It's okay if you want to do that! And most of the people who have counts from previous years are going back to what looks to be 2000 or maybe the late 90s. You can look at some of the topics, though, to get an idea.

I tried to back count. I know it's not 100%, but I still tried to include that in my list.

Some of us, like myself, are only counting our lists from 2010+. Still, lots are including books that they've read in past years. If you kept up with what you read in previous years, those can be counted as well.

54 is so not old! You aren't considered old (to me, at least) until you reach 75.

Go to the folder entitled "A - D" and make a topic for yourself. You can post your pages however you want. :)

I guess I'm kind of an old lady here in this group, too, being on the wrong side of 30! :) I love reading, and I love the idea of the million pages challenge. I've been on Goodreads for a little while now, so I'm going to try to catch up on posting the books I've read since then. I have a wonderful husband, a two-year-old daughter, and a full time job - the last two proving to be the largest impediments to my reading progress. :) My other hobbies include baking, jogging (slowly and sporadically), and gardening.
