Series showing in title

I noticed with some books the series shows up as part of the title when using the 'add book/author' link and for others it is hidden.

For Example:
Bone Crossed
Silver Borne (Mercedes Thompson, #5)
Both of these books are part of the same series and are labeled as such on each of the book's pages. I've compared the edit pages and can't see any differences yet there must be a difference since they are showing up in the 'add book/author' link differently.

Any ideas what is causing a situation like this?

It happens at times, I edited the title, removed the space between the end of the title and ( and then put it back again and it seems fine

Sometimes there are extra spaces after the final ")" which can cause discrepencies in display as well.

Agreed - most commonly it is trailing spaces.

Thanks everyone. When I see it again I'll double check for those pesky extra spaces. I didn't even think to look for that when comparing the two books.
