Aline | 6 comments Hello everyone! I'm Aline and I love to read almost everything, almost (not a big fan of self-help). Books in my life are like therapy, they keep me sane hahahaha.
I'm from Northeast Brazil, but I live in NYC. I speak Portuguese, English and broken Spanish (working to fix that).
I'm a bookaholic, blogger and sometimes I think I can be a writer. Didn't publish anything yet though, because everything is in my first language.
Hmmm, guess that's it! It's great to get to talk about books and nice to meet you all.

Alex Martyn (AlexMartyn) | 3 comments Hi everyone,

I joined some time ago, but have only just got round to making this site part of my daily routine. I have just published my first novel, 'Bunker' on kindle and would be fascinated to hear what people thought of it.

It is the story of a man imprisoned in a bunker since he was an infant, and his revenge upon the one person who could have freed him, but did not.

It is only 77p on the kindle, (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bunker-ebook/...) but if anyone wants a free copy, I would be very happy to email it to them.

Thanks and all the best,

James

Dale Amidei (daleamidei) | 1 comments Hello all. I would like to introduce myself as a writer whose mission is to present traditional values and faith in the venue of contemporary fiction. My novel, The Anvil of the Craftsman, is currently 6-for-6 with five-star reviews on Goodreads and Amazon. I am working concurrently on a sequel, "The Britteridge Heresy" and a third title in the trilogy.

Thanks for reading. Without you, an author's voice would be only imagination.

Kim Brooks (kimontheweb) | 1 comments Hi everyone - I'm excited to join this group! I'm a nationally published author and my debut novel, He's Fine...But is He Saved? is about the triumphs and challenges of three single friends waiting to be found by love. Initially self-published, it eventually got picked up and re-released by a Harlequin imprint and went on to become a national bestseller. Its sequel released shortly thereafter. Along with writing I love to read as well and look forward to sharing with others in this group.

Donald J. Amodeo | 2 comments Hi all! My name is Don and I'm a Christian indie author living in Tampa Bay. I love to read Christian fiction, though I must admit that a lot of the stuff I read isn't exactly contemporary (I have a weakness for crazy sci-fi and fantasy ^_^). Looking forward to discovering some new reads here!

Have you tried Frank Peretti? They wrote a book together called House. You've probably heard of it already but that is how i heard of them both. I've read a couple books by them since that book...I can't say I like all that I have attempted to read but I do agree they are great writers. I liked Thr3e (Ted Dekker) & Monster (Frank Peretti)....I loved the messages in House & Monster! Thr3e was just great for me personally! No message that I remember. :-)

I've only read two books by Karen Kingsbury..Even Now & Ever After...Even Now was my favorite of the two...I tried to read another one of hers but couldn't get into it of hers but I may try others. Her books seem to be heart wrenching! So I'd have to try when I can handle it! lol :-)

Diogenes Ruiz | 1 comments Greetings, I am new to Goodreads, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Diogenes. I've always envied people with one syllable names. My wife and I live in Raleigh, North Carolina. I love Pope Francis, pizza, bad sci-fi and fried plantains. I enjoy chorale music and jazz. We have a fourteen year old dachshund name Dixie. She poops twice a day, and we cheer when she does it outside. I enjoy reading and writing Christian fiction, and hope to finish my second novel in a few weeks. I thank God for small miracles. Recently, that would be rain and above freezing temperatures. Finally, I just want to know who bribed Punxsutawney Phil. If it snows again, I'm pointing the car south and driving to Ecuador. I'm looking forward to meeting new friends in this community.

I've read the book too, and loved it.

Muriel Gill | 3 comments Hello everyone. I'm new here, I'm a writer. I like to take a contemporary issue (e.g. greed and marerialism), build a story around it, get a christian character to find Biblical solutions to the issue and apply them. I suppose this would classify my work as contemporary christian, also inspirational and family drama.
My latest book is Scared Courage (ePUB, 86000+ words), which sells for $1.99. Available here, http://www.lulu.com/shop/muriel-gill/...
