In which a mod rants about SPAM

This is pretty much going to be a "preachin to the choir" post, but spam of ANY kind is not allowed in this group. At all. The Kids/Teen Book Club is not the Advertisement section of the newspaper.

I've noticed that most of these topics are started by non-members, or people who "join" and then just post their crap (sorry) but if Head Mod will approve, I say we do 1-warning-then-you're-out policy about spamming, because it's getting ridiculous.

Okay, sorry if I sounded Dolores Umbridge-y, everyone go back to having fun!

Yup, last night i was dreaming, then i woke up with an odd feeling: SPAM!
ANd i logged on quickly, there it was :P

Ok, thats not exactly true. But still. I delete it as soon as i see it.

Yeah. It bugs me when there's spam in a gropu, but I'm not a mod and can't go delete it- and the mods of that group aren't doing anything about it! Sometimes I just go and report it to do away with it.

HAhaha! It doesn't bug me actually, especially if there is a specific folder for it. But I'm glad the mods are on top of it( :
